She takes Proin pills, one pill, two times a day, and this does help. However, she still leaks a little bit. It is weird though, the leakage is "clear," not yellow. The vet thought she was leaking urine. I'm not positive it is urine since it's not yellow, although the Proin helps her. Any ideas? What can I do for her to eliminate this problem? I love my dog to death, but I cannot have her ruining my carpeting in my home and our furniture. Please help me!!!!!!! I also really cannot afford these super expensive outlandish vet bills. Last time we had her at the vet it cost almost $300.00.

my poodle: sets on back legs....when I do yoga...he'll role on the floor with me...if lying on my back...he'll come roll over on his.

Pomerianian: Spins circles when you leave(annoying sometimes)
he'll bow down to you for a cookie.
He'll bring his bowl to you..if you are eating.

What kinds of things does you rdog do...that makes you laugh?

I can't find a big enough umbrella and we all get soaked and then they dry themselves on the furniture. I'm not upset about the furniture because they are most important but it would be great to devise a way to keep us all dry. Thanks!

We have a 10 year old Labrador x kelpie.
He is getting slow and bad joints. Is it best to get a new puppy now or wait till he has passed?
Is it true that 'overlapping' them will help the pup to train and maybe take his new energy out on the other dog instead of the garden!!!! Just wondering as our dog that we have now ripped everything to pieces for 2 years but then turned into the perfect family dog.

My four month old puppy-girl Poppie, sometimes stands on her backlegs when she tries to get on the couch or bed. Do you think it's bad for her little bones to do that? She never does it for long, because I pick her up.

I bought my 2 yr old female dog a couple of weeks ago and I think she may be pregnant because she has got slightly fatter and is eating me out of house and home. She was basically a puppy mill where I bought her from and therefore has already got large droopy nipples when I got her. The guy said this was because she has not long had puppys. She has an indentation (sort of looks like a scar) that runs in a line down her tummy as well.. I dunno if this is related. Im wondering if she was already pregnant before I got her and if there is a way to tell without paying my vet £80!! to feel her tummy. Thanks in advance.

Hello, i am from brisbane and my dog is being attacked around sundown everyday by horsefly's, even if they r not biting her she is freaking out by the buzzing noise they make flying around. She works herself into a panic and runs around until she is exhausted and coming into the summer months i don't know how she will cope. I have looked on the net and found little help rather then a fly trap from the usa. If anybody has any ideas i would appreciate hearing from you, thankyou very much........

I have a miniture girl beagle and my boyfriend has a bassethound. I REALLY want to breed them, I would love for all of us to share the experience with everything that takes place; but, Will beagle/ basset puppies sell? My friend and I saw a man selling beagle/ basset pups one day in a parking lot and we went to check them out, he was selling them for $300. no papers. nothing. just that they had been "wormed". They were so beautiful!! and they went fast. So I was wondering.. would breeding them be a good idea?

we have a standard poodle already and she is great. shes 1 and a half years old but we are contemplating getting another dog soon. Maybe a schnauzer though this poodle has been great so maybe another poodle? Unless there are other suggestions--but must have low shedding.

20# Short Haired Manchester Terrier just started drinking 3-4 times the amount of water he normally drinks.Normally eats 3 times a day,and drinks about 12 oz.-6 times a day(3 with food and 3 inbetween meals)(now drinking 16-20 oz. 12+ times a day).He is 6 years old and still very playful, eats the same amount of food.I live in a rural area and it's cold outside.3 days ago I was walking him at night he jumped in some tall grass and ran out spooked(it pulled hard on his harness)(started drinking more the next morning). He gets walked 5-6 times a day, sometimes more, and doesn't seem to want to go out more.I keep it 72 degree's inside(although he always sits infront of the forced air heater, always has). Can't get into the vet for 5 days(she doesn't think it's an emergency). He's up to date with his shots-heart-worm too.Am I over worring, should I wait for his appt. or take him into emergency vet clinic?Or should I wait and see if he returns to normal?

I have a maltese poodle - spaniel cross, which has been battling with her ears since she was a pup, and is now 8 years old and still has the same problem. i know that spaniels are prone to ear infections, and she has been to the vet numerous times and taking everything from oridermyl to cortizone. Does anybody know of a realy good ointment ( herbal perhaps? ) that I could buy at a pet shop or something as opposed to booking yet another vet appointment which ultimately doesnt clear the ears. Genuine, knowledge based help would be appreciated.

I saw the set in a catalog. They are plaid and they offered two/three color choices. It featured outdoor clothing but very trendy and upscale. I would buy it online, but I am having a difficult time finding that item. Also, not easy to find dog coats/sweaters in XL. Anyway, it was a coat for the dog and a matching coat for the owner. It was impressive because it was plaid and a set. I will appreciate any and all suggestions as I continue my search. Thanks so much! Melora
