IT IS A MUTT

IT IS A MONGREL

Who knows what a cross between apug and beagle will look like?

All depends upon what genes dominated in that particular puppy?

Pug head - beagle body and tail - pug legs - beagle coloring

Beagle head with pug ears on a pug body with a pug tail and pug coloring with black or tan splotches

PICK ANY COMBINATION THAT YOU WANT!!

This is the latest "fad" from irresponsible unscrupulous backyard breeders out to make as much money as they can by persuading suckers that a cross-bred mutt is "neat" and worth a lot of money - often more than you would pay for a well-bred pet from either breed from a responsible breeder who knows their bloodlines and does all the health screenings on their dogs for hereditary problems..

They are breeding from poor quality dogs as no responsible legitimate breeder would ever sell them a dog or do such a thing. They do NOT screen their dogs for hereditary health defects - and a dog can look fine and not yet show the symptoms but have the condition and pass it on. In pugs alone, over 60% have hip dysplaisa, elbow dysplasia or both; and abour 12% have patellas problems where the knee cap displaces and surgery can be required. In Beagles about 20% have hip dysplaisa. (And keep in mind, these are the statistics for the dogs whose owners cared enough too spend $300-500 to have their dogs checked for such hereditary conditions - typically show breeders. Pet quality animals from someone's backyard usually have a far higher incidence of these conditions.)

It's a cross between a Pug and a Beagle. A puggle is also the name for a baby echidna!

it is a cross between a pug and a beagle. i know alot of people think it is just a mutt. but when people say puggle, you know what type of mixed breed it is. it is very helpful because there are many mixed breeds out there and you'd probably want to know what type so there are names to tell the different mixed breeds apart.

A puggle is a small hybrid breed of dog created by mating a pug and beagle; thereby producing an energetic hound having: a thickset body; a short-haired, smooth coat of fawn, tan, and black coloring; a deeply wrinkled forehead; short legs; a curled tail; and drooping ears.

They are adorable animals, I really want one, but it wouldn't go well with out 7 kitties! :-D

It's a beagle mixed with a pug. Beagles have awful personalities and pugs have great ones. However, beagles look nicer than pugs. I'm not sure what you can get from the two but I'm sure it will be a surprise!
