I have a 4 and a half month golden puppy. the vet just gave him a bordatella vaccine. They said it required a booster after 3 weeks.
It has always been that the vaccine lasts 6 months. Why the booster at 3 weeks after initial vaccination?

I had a cocker spaniel for about 3 years then we got a weinner dog and the other dog did not like her well they started get along better and about 5 years latter the spaniel was getting really old and was starting to suffer so we had him put down now all the weinner dog does is cry and whine and go were the other dog was all the time it almost as if she miss the other one they were close they laid together all the time. Is it possible that the wienner dog is missing the cocker spainel ? and if so how can I confort her to make her stop cryin so much?

The dog would be left for a maximum of two hours, as we have a neighbour who would be able to let it out for toilet. it would be left in a crate, or a bed. It would have toys to play with, and when we get home, it would get love and attention, and the right training.

the 31st .... my dog had to be put to sleep.... due to cancer in the throat... has anyone else had to go through this..... how'd you get over it.... I had him for ten years.... we saved him from the SPCA... it's been a week... but i still can't get over it..... and my family won't get another dog for along time. I don't think I can last that long without something there when I get home every day. I know what we did was the humane thing.... but it still hurts alot you know?

I have a small male who dislikes big dogs but I want to get a pug but I don't know which gender would be better. I know that before I get one I will have to make sure that they will get along but I don't know which gender.Thanks.

Or the shorter ones that basically say the same thing in much fewer words? I hate trying to read a long drawn out answer. I am talking about answers that take up most of the page. Most of the time, the same thing can be said with much less words.

Yesterday I dropped a bunch of cornflakes on my kitchen floor and my two beagles, 6 months and 10 months ate them before I could even bend to pick them up. They never beg for food but they kept begging when I had the box in my hand. Is it safe to give them cornflakes as a treat every now and then?

My dog ran into the woods and he hasnt been back for about a day. Ive been searching everywhere. I dont know where to look. I could go around the neighborhood and put up fliers, but its not a big neighborhood and i dont think anyone would pick him up, even though he is very cute. What should i do to find him?

i had a golden retriever when i was 13. she was the sweetest dog. she ran all over the neighborhood with me. she died. i had a black lab who just died a few months ago. he was the best dog ever. his name was Barnabas. he was with me for a long time. he was 12 yrs old. he was very smart. he was a bird dog. he loved to go hunting, fishing, swiming, and crawfishing. he was well behaved, minded better than the kids. i loved that dog. i miss him so much.

I'm taking my dog to the vet tomorrow, but I just want to see if anyone can help me figure out what's wrong. I have a 1 yr. old Shitzu and she has not been eating well for like 2 days. I changed her food to another brand and she loved it the first day, then threw up the next. The vomit was green liquid! She didn't eat well for another day and no vomit. Today I fed her lunch, not the same food, and she just threw up all the meat she ate in the same green liquid. She's definetly going to the vet tomorrow, but what do you guys think he'll say? Is it a normal stomach problem or what?

There are dogs dying in a shelter near you. Why not save some money and get one of those? Do you realize that rabies is common in other countries? Rabies is difficult to diagnose in it's early stages and you could be infected, or your kids.
JUST GO TO YOUR LOCAL SHELTER!!!
