I have a Labrador and a chiuawa. How do I take care of both of them when my chiuawa wants all the attention and my lab just want to have fun and run around at the park? too much excersize can kill a chiuawa.

I'm going to have that problem soon. I've got a Shepherd, and I'm adopting my friend's Chihauha next month. I'm probably going to walk the Shepherd and keep the tiny dog in a handheld pet carrier. That way, they both get attention, and the little dog won't get too tired. You might try doing activities such as throwing a ball for the Lab while the little dog sits beside you. It's OK for a tiny dog to get lots of exercise. The little dog actually has more energy than my Shepherd! You also might try keeping just one inside every now and then, so it can get all the attention, and trade off turns.
Hope this helps!

Lavish the chihuahua with attention at home, then leave him behind when you take the lab to the park.

Balance and symmetry, friend. Let your Lab run to his heart's content and keep an eye on the chihuahua, especially in this hot weather.
