I have a 4 month old bully. He barks all the time, he play bites way to much and gets really rough. And of course he is hard headed and just doesnt want to listen at times. He is smart, he is potty trained, he sits and stays but he just cant get over the barking and biting.I spend alot of time with him we play the in and out game it is fun for him but not for me ,he'll go out to potty and come in and within 3 minutes barking to go back out ,we do this all day long. I made sure that he was around people and other dogs and children all the time but he now hates children I really need good advise so he will grow up a great dog. Thank you for any and all help with this training problem.

I want to adopt a pug. I love them! I don't know when I'll be able to, but I'm trying to get as much information as I can together before I make a decision. I know about PetFinder.com, and it's my best resource so far. Is there anything else with that kind of selection out there?

I wrote a couple days ago about my dog. She is still sick but doing much better. They are still questioning the mass on x-ray that may or may not be a tumor. The vet could feel no mass during the physical. She has high liver enzyme levels.
I believe it is her ALT readings. What should her diet be? All the adice I get contradicts each other. Going in for more tests on Thursday. The latest vet feels the high liver levels may be because of digestive problems than liver disease. If anyone has experience with this and knows what diet I could cook for her--please let me know.

This is a link to a picture of my dog. She was a rescue dog, is 5 years old, about 35 lbs. Long brown hair that needs cutting every month, long very fluffy tail. Loves to run/high energy. Probably many many breeds intermixed, but input would be great. Be specific.

PS: there is 2 pictures on this link, my dog is the "headshot" with light brown, long straight hair. I know it's not the best picture.

I want to add to the pet discussion that I think it is wrong for people like Paris Hilton to use an animal as an accessory. With all of her young followers now they will be tossing a dog to the curb if it isn't the latest in fashion or style that Paris Hilton decides. Cosmo had an article on this and I find it revolting, most dog lovers do as well. Animals aren't accessories! Just cause some Hollywood nitwit has one doesn't mean everyone should have that!

The only reason Paris Hilton does things like this is cause she can. She's using an animal to her liking and basically when she's bored with it she gives it up like it was nothing. . To give up one just to get another what does that teach young girls about being responsible dog owners? Just cause one dog isn't in style anymore they toss it to the shelters? That is cold and it is wrong. How shallow has society become?

Since my puppies are both adopted mixes, I can't go by the breed. My baby boy is a pitbull mix and is 5 months old. My baby girl is an american bulldog mix, 4 months old. We don't know what either was mixed with. I heard somewhere that at 6 months they should be 75-80 percent grown. Does anyone know this to be true or any other way to figure it out with puppy mixes? Also I've been told to look at their paws, but that does not help me. I see that their paws are big, but they look normal on their body, that doesn't help me with how big they will be when they are done growing. Last time we were at the vet, for Bailey he was 4 months he was 27 pounds and Rylee at 3 months was 19 pounds. Any guesses are appreciated?!
