Decide what type of dogs you want to Foster and contact the Rescue group for that breed.
The ASPCA always looks for Foster Families too.

It's easy. Just go to an animal shelter and ask them if they have a foster program. If they do you can ask them for an application to sign up....Good Luck!

Most of the time rescue groups and breed specific groups are always looking for someone to foster their dogs. Just find a specific breed or rescue group and call them.
You can find rescue groups on petfinder.com (http://www.petfinder.com/pet.cgi) just enter your zipcode or state and it will find rescue groups in your area you can contact.

You can go into a web site depending on which breed you may want to care for...and there is certain criteria that you have to meet before they will allow you to care for dogs...which is a good thing...not everyone should be allowed.

We did that for a while with Border Collies. Check with your local humane society and they should have phone numbers for non-kill shelters and rescues.

Check with all the rescue groups in your area. Prepare for intensive scrutiny and do not fall in love with your fosters because legally you will have to give it up.
Good for you!!!
