He's done it twice. A new cat and girlfriend moved in two months ago, but he's been fine and happy after the initial adjustment. He licks and headbutts the new female cat. Thanks for any help with this.

This little gray female stray cat has been hanging around my yard and neighbourhood lately. I fed her usually every night but sometimes i dont see her for weeks. Last night she actually accepeted food form my hand! Now that i take as a sign of trust. I know she is a stray because whenever i have people over she gets scared and runs away. Tonight however after i finished feeding her she just turned her back on me and starting do whatever she pleases. Now a stray cat turning its back on you like your not even there, what does she think of me? Does she trust me? Does she think im its owner? Any ideas?

The other day my cat woke me up screetching horrible noises and twitching and it couldnt walk right. I got him outside and he didn't come home for two days. His eyes are kinda spacey looking like he cant focus them or something and his hind legs are not working as well. He is an indoor/outdoor cat that goes out roughly one or twice a day. Any help would be nice. Thanks

i was on vacation for 3 days (gone officially 1 day since you leave the 1st day, full day 2nd day, and come back 3rd day) and i had somebody come feed our cats and stuff but when we came back they had big really wet barfs with the food barely chewed. Do you think they did this because they were angry that we were gone or lonely or something (that's what my mom thinks) or they are sick? they've thrown up before but the vomit wasn't this large.

She found it on the side of the highway driving home from work. Her mom won't allow animals in her house, so I guess she thought I'd be a sucker for it.

The kitten has a broken leg, she is not using it at all.. she's infested with fleas (I treated the fleas) and has worms badly (I gave her dewormer). Right now I have her in a pet carrier with food and water.

Do you think the vet might discount this? I give them at least $1k/year for my animal care anyways. Also, do you think they'd help me find her a home?

God Help me. My kitten's eyes turn to the back of his head and he figits...then he attacks us, leaving terrible deep cuts and sucks the blood of our wounds like he's nursing off his mother. He shakes vigerously while doing all of this. His eyes sometimes turn red. I dont know what to do!!! I've tried everything: throwing him, punting him, kicking him, bathing him, showering him, feeding him, shaving him, petting him, god, I just dont know what else to do! Please guide me!

My neighbors had a cat he was playful & friendly & a typical cat older though. They apparently moved out & left him behind & now he's adopted me. The problem is that where I live there are lots of restrictions & bring an old cat use to running around having to confine him to my little apartment & indoors seems rather cruel. In the end it's better for him I know but again it seems rather like an adult use to their freedom & independance then suddenly taking that away because of no fault of their own but because of an illness or age. At the same time being an older cat the likelihood he would be adopted out probably arent too great either & good or bad I couldn't have the possiblity of him being put down either especially through no fault of his own. THis all came up because of the neighbors moving but also a management employee saw him out my door one day with a bird which while sad is just nature calling for him. So which in opinions seems less cruel locking him up or humane society.

My friends cat had kittens born on fathers day, and what will be a reasonable price to make sure they go to a good home. they kittens are 4 weeks old, and they will be ready to go to their new homw when they are 6 weeks old. They are grey and black in color. They r all tabby kittens. Per kitten. The fee will go to spaying/neutering her cats.

I had two cats that were very attached. One day Oliver ran away and Casper hasn't been the same since so i am contemplating bringing a new companion into the house for her. I wanna know a safe way to bring a new cat into the home and how to get Casper used to them in a safe way so she doesn't get all territorial and hurt the little kitty.

I have lived at 2 apts with a no pets policy, but several neighbors still had them. I know there is a hefty fine, but isn't the risk of getting caught very small?

I have had to take my cat to the vet numerous times due to it being attacked by another cat. My ex went two doors down where the cat lives and talked to an older couple who own it. They said their cat never has a scratch on it and they cannot afford to pay my vet bills. They said they would keep their cat in but they dont and now the cat that use to be indoors is outside too. Today I was calling my cat to come home and as he was crossing the road the old man started yelling at him and hitting his hands at him. It scared my cat and made him run back into the road and in front of a truck. My cat wasnt even near this mans yard. What can I do? I cannot afford to keep paying vet bills for this. This mans cat is always coming over to where we live. There are a few other cats in the neighborhood that play with my cat without any problems. I'm scared that if I call animal control he might do something to my cat. What are the laws in NC for this???

I have a kitten that was the runt of the litter. The woman that gave her to me gave her when she had just turned 8 weeks and she said that she had to be with her mommy a little while longer than the other kittens. She gave away improperly weaned kittens!!! Anyhow, my little cutie is 4 months now and still very small. Do runts stay small or will she eventually have a growth spurt?

Our cat Turkey is a good cat, but has always been neurotic. He would often throw up when nervous. He was pretty happy in our new house until I got pregnant and had a baby. Now the baby is a year old and all of a sudden, Turkey is spraying and peeing everywhere! He was neutered as a kitten. I know the baby being noisy and trying to grab him, and less attention from us is probably the cause. Can you really stop a cat from spraying once he starts? whats the best way to clean it? I have natures miracle. thanks

We found a stray cat living under our deck. I started feeding her, got her medicine for deworming and she has stayed. Noticed she was quite fat & yes, I now have 6 kittens. I have NEVER owned a cat. I had put a box with towels out for her and hid it but she didnt have them there. She chose to have them on my upper deck by my bedroom slider door inside of our grill cover that had been taken off the grill. She will not move them. I'm afraid its too hot for her babies on the deck. I did put a table over them to shade them and anchored it down in case it gets windy. I moved her box - its more like a dog crate with vents and no door - to the upper deck and put her food and water in it with towels. She will eat in there but not put the babies in there. I moved them once and she put them back. Do I leave them there and will she move them if they are getting extremely hot? I'm worried about them. Also, when can i take her to the vet to make sure this doesnt happen again?!

My cat throws up his food sometimes. He used to have a hernia but that was fixed. The incidents diminished quickly when Mom gave him hairball preventing goo but the weird thing is- he dosen't have long hair or clean himself often enough to give himself hairballs! And he's never hairball hacked! I'm only 10 so I still have to do what Mom says-
she's not worried about my little boy kitty. I know this may be a false alarm, but I'm worried about Toby! (the cat.)
