My cat had 5 kittens monday night into tuesday morning. She was fine all day yesterday and then last night had a little bit of blood come out. Then she was fine again. When I came home from lunch she had a little bit more on her tail and around her area. Is this normal or is something wrong with her.

she is a/b 3 months old. she was a stray, and was thin to begin with, but after being spayed this morning, you can literally SEE her ribs. we had to take her to a low cost clinic, so i guess i am overly skeptical to begin with.

My cat gave birth to 4 kittens on June 2nd. There are 2 boys are 2 girls. One of the kittens is meowing very loudly pretty often and when he is awake a white fluid comes out of his mouth. He's breathing kind of weird and he sounds raspy. I'm not sure when he last nursed, but he does sleep. I sort of think the white fluid coming out of him is his mom's milk that maybe he swallowed too much of, but I really don't know. I'm worried that he may have something wrong with him and I don't want him to make the other kittens sick. Please help!!

I was thinking of getting a kitten but I live near a busy road. Although there is a large area out the back where it would probably be ok, I'm not sure it would be worth the risk. Would it be cruel for me to keep it indoor all the time?

When I go to bed my cat jumps up and buries his nose in the duvet and kneads. While he is kneading his "hind quarters" start shivering and he looks like he is humping in slow motion. I wonder if this is weird, as I have gotten him fixed already. He was 9 months old, but he had never sprayed or anything. Has this happened to any of you?

I heard they could only be males [usually] because of something sex-linked.. and females were rare..

I saw online at my shelter 3 orange tabby sisters..

will they grow back? And what's the effect if they don't, he's very spoilt and doesn't go out, except on the verandah most of the time he's asleep somewhere. Are there any serious problems, with him not having whiskers?

And before anyone asks what's a 6 year old doing with scissors, they are supposed to be children's plastic paper only scissors!!!

like many other lazy cat owners..i am looking to find the best automatic litter box.. i have heard so many things about every different brand, all bad really.. i have 2 cats now who adjust well to new things-i am wondering which box is the best?? it would have to handle 2 cats, work automatically, not clump when there's #1 OR #2 in there.. anyone out there have a problem-free experience with a great automatic litter box? i would love to know how i can take this god awful chore and make it a bit more manageable.. if it works, money is no issue.. :) also, do u have to buy special (expensive) litter for the automatic boxes or not?

We found 2 kittens in our barn and the mother seems to have left them. They just opened their eyes. One has already died because the mother did not take care of it. It's horrible to see. I really want to save the other one. How can I feed it and such?Any help would be appreciated !

I have just been given a 6 week old kitten 4 days ago by my brother. He seemed fine for the first few days, a little un-settled as he is now away from his brothers and sisters, but i have another kitten so it has put him at ease a little and has settled in fine now. I am a little concerned about him though. When he came off of his mothers milk he was put straight onto adult food and aparently that is all they give him, it did not used to make him bad. I had another kitten before i got Pippin and had dried kitten food for him, so gave them both what was left of that food. Since then I have put adult food back into the bowl which was given to me by my brother and they both seemed fine initially, but then the younger kitten has just been sick. He was sick the other night as well and always seemed to want to eat. He drinks plenty so it can't be a digestive problem. Can anyone help me out?

I recently bought my 4 month old kitten Special Kitty (Wal-mart brand) kitten food. I switched him from Purina Kitten Chow because the ingredients are very similar and the nutrition content is the same. Will the product deliver the same performance and is it as safe?

I'm getting a russian blue kitten in a couple of weeks and I'm not sure if she should be allowed outside once she is older. People have told me that a pedigree cat shouldn't be allowed outside the house. Is this ture?

If bugs get in the house he will go after them. I assume its ok because he would eat them in the wild, but im not sure.
