Yeah, I do mean a young kitten as i wouldnt expect a fully grown cat that hadn't been around dogs to get along with them
I have a golden retriever and a shih tzu but both are very friendly and loveable x

Depends on whether or not the cats have had contact with dogs. If they are kittens they will grow to like the dogs. However, a fully grown cat, no matter the breed, will probably fear the dog and there will nothing you can do about it. My male cat came to me fully grown, but he loves dogs and has obviously been around them before. My female came to me as a kitten. At first she didn't like them but now she cuddles with them. Cats are naturally afraid of dogs and you need to get them together early.

Depends on cat's personality. I have a Persian who got along well with a dog and another cat when she was a kitten (she's 13 now). As an adult, she sometimes got jealous when the other cat was receiving attention, but she "grieved" for her when she died last year. I have a new kitten now, and she's pretty tolerant. She was only around the dog as a kitten.

There's no sure way to know how well the cat will get along. It will depend on the cat's personality and how much it's exposed to other animals as a kitten.

We have a two year old munchkin and she loves small dogs. Over the last two years we have exposed our cat to both big and small breeds of dogs and our cat likes the small one better. The dog and cat fought for about a week and then it went away and they would tolerate each other if the dog don't keep bothering the cat.

Most cats hate dog's. I would say 98% hate dogs, unless they grew up together

If they are brought up with them there is no problem, otherwise they may or may not be able to learn to tolerate them.
