I've tried calling all the local animal shelters(they have cats but too old) and i've tried several websites with not much luck either so i've decided i might have more luck buying privately
I asked the same question yesterday but with not much luck, maybe this time i will have more luck, so here it goes.
I have two young female cats who would like a playmate, i'm looking for a 15wk or younger so my cats do not feel threatened by the new one, must be of a suitable distance for a kitten to travel back to chester/liverpool(uk), colour, breed and sex is not important, must be very energetic to match the personalitys of my other cats....kitty heaven awaits them.

I would like to go abroad for the winter months (Oct - April) for the heat. I have a dog 14 a Siamese Cat12 and a Burmese Cat 13. My husband says we can't go abroad as to put them in kennels would be rather expensive £15 per day. I always put them in kennels when I go away as I know they will be safe and fed. Can anyone tell me what I should do? There is no considering getting them destroyed. It's just the cost that bothers me.

I know that my cat is allergic to a kind of lip balm that I used once. Her eye got very red and swelled a bit. Other than that, I don't think I've ever really heard of a cat being allergic to anything aside from some plants. But many humans are allergic to cats. Can a cat be allergic to humans?

We have had a female cat for three years now, she has not been operated since we would like her to have kittens once. She has been in heat for four days now, and has started peeing on the carpets or any piece of fabric she finds on the floor. Is there something we can do about this? Is she sick?

I have an 8 month old kitten who has an allergy to flea saliva. Everytime he gets bitten he gets huge open sores of the back of his neck which bleed constantly until he gets a steroid shot. This time we went to the vets and not only does he have the sores he also has got an infection which has caused his cheek and neck to swell with pus (gross) and sag under the weight. Because of the anti biotics we cant give him the steroid shot to stop the flare ups until the infection has cleared. The vet said this is something he will have for the rest of his life now, he suggested that we consider putting him down as every time he has the steroid shot (almost monthly) we lower his immune leaving him open to further infection.

What do we do? Am i being selfish wanting to keep with the steroids?

Do you know of any cats that have survived this disease? If so, how?

My cat is very sick and needs to take five different kinds of meds daily. His meds are both in tablet and liquid form. His vet suggested that I use a syringe when giving him his liquid meds. As for the tablets, I just pop it in his mouth and hope he swallows it.

Giving him his meds is always a struggle and my cat gets very stressed. I'm afraid that stressing him out will only make his condition worse. How can I make things easier for him?

after running the faucet, he jumps up and licks the faucet. i wash his bowl every day, and change his water often. every time i fill his bowl, he tips it over and wont drink it. he only wants to drink from the faucet. why is he doing this, even though i wash his bowl daily, and change his water often? is he just picky, or am i doing something wrong?

What age do cats start bumping people?
Like bump to put scent glands on you and to show that they love you?

My kitty doesn't bump me, it lickes me, it purrs alot and loves to go on my lap and kneads me, and it sometimes goes into my bedroom and sleeps with me! : ) Also it wakes me up sometimes when i'm sleeping.
And when sometimes when i come home it comes and greets me.
hes a male :)
At what age do they start bumping you,. or my cat will never? :(

I just found and tried to remove a tick from my cat, but I only got the body and most of the ticks legs. Can the tick get off my cat and get on me or my other two cats? Getting Advantix tomorrow, but worried about tonight. Also, should I be worried about the ticks being in my house now?

A few months ago I got a kitten. It was so young and so little that you could hold it in one hand. One night, while I was sleeping, she crawled in bed with me and fell asleep. Because I was sleeping and she was so little, I had no idea she was even there. In my sleep I must have rolled over on to her because when I woke up the next morning she was laying right next to me and she dead. I have been so depressed since then because my kitten's death was my fault. I miss her so much, and I will always love her. I know it was an accident and that I had no way of knowing she was in bed with me since I was sleeping but I can not get over this guilt and depression. What should I do?
