Hi there....a cat has 18 ‘big teeth’ and 12 incisors (those little ones in the front). Cats start out with 26 deciduous teeth and by the time of six months of age, these baby teeth fall out and are replaced by permanent teeth, which they end up with 30 teeth.

They don't have enough teeth to be ok losing any...
Please make sure you take kitty to the vet for a teeth cleaning every year!! I didn't take my cat ('coz I didn't know), and she ended up losing 5 teeth!! You must know how bad I felt about that... :,o(

So learn from my mistake...
