Cats love the smell of menthol and mint. Some years ago I used to smoke menthol cigarettes, and my cat would push the packet everywhere, absolutely besotted with the smell.

My cat Leo digs the water dish and meows when it's empty.

My 2 cats will steal cigarettes or spoons or throw pillows if they are left out and hide them in my apartment. I let them play with mostly everything except the cigarettes. They are always so full of energy
