I have Indian Minor Birds nesting in my Laundry roof and they have just had babies. I did not mind at first, I was a little worried about bird lice at first but as the laundry is outside I left them. Now they are getting really aggressive and attacking my kitty everytime he steps one foot outside, or when he is eating or even when he is sitting on the windowsill! Maybe if he was not such a pansy, he would take care of them himself! But I have tried putting him up in the hatch with them and he just jumps down..
Because Indian Minors are a pest in Australia, can you kill them?
I dont really want to, I would rather relocate them but some people have told me that they just come back!

Help me, and my poor cat! He is so stressed out!

Especially cats, since they are so tiny. It is hard to believe that their fur does much when the weather is so snowy and freezing cold. My young cat will stay outside for hours at a time. Which brings me to another question, is there a way I can get my cat to be more of an indoor cat? It always wants to go outside unless it is hungry.

She is very small looks like a kitten I have 4 other cats also she vomits up very large thick piles it does look like the food that she had eaten earlier. She is tiny and thin. What do I need to look for or should I take her to the vet, I don't have alot of money at this time because of being layed off.

Ok this is pertaining to the story i relate yesterday, its about my cat who was diagnosed with virus and fever. I brought my cat to the vet yesterday after he refused to eat and drink, and his body is getting skinnier. So I brought it to the veterinary centre yesterday night, and the doc confirmed my cat has been diagnosed with fever and virus inside his stomach, the doc claimed that my cat probably caught the virus and fever from other cat which live together with me after the doc took some blood sample from my cat. The doc asked me to leave my cat with them so they can drip my cat and analyse its behavior. I have left my cat there for 1 day now. ok, here is my question and i really need your advise because I'm not from a rich family so I can't really afford expensive medication fee for my cat, one night of stay already costs me $120 including the dripping. Is it neccessary to drip my cat & let its to stay overnight at the vet when my cat can be cured with antibiotic pills at home

There is this stray cat that has been wondering out, outside for the past few months. He is homeless, and all the time outside in this cold weather. He is now starting to come by me, and everytime he does, I really feel bad for the cat and want to take him in. But I already have 2 big dogs and a female cat who is by the way fixed.

What should I do? Should I maybe take him in and maybe take him up to the vet and if he is chipped they can tell me whether or not he has or had owners? Or should I just ignore the cat and leave him be? What would you do in this situation? I really feel bad for him having to be out in this very cold weather with no where to go for shelter or to be warm? Please help me? What should I do?

Another cat question for you all. Okay so I'm confused at something that happens when I get scratched by my cat. Whenever I get cut from him, it bleeds for a couple seconds (like any other normal cut or scratch) then after a couple minutes it puffs all up and I get bumps all around the area where I was scratched. This time however I noticed that some kind of clear liquid was spewing out from where the actual cut was made (instead of blood this time) and that's never happened before. Usually I just get the puffyness and then it goes away later that night. Anyone got any ideas?

One of my 2 4 month old cats just vomited on the carpet. This is the first time either of them have done that, and I don't even know which cat did it. It looked like regurgitated wet cat food, although they hadn't had wet food since last night. However, both of them are running around, playing, wrestling, and acting normal, and I have watched both eat some of their food and drink water since the incident. Is vomiting once considered a situation that a cat needs to go to the vet right away for, or only if it continues?

A few months ago my cat, Josie was diagnosed w/ asthma. She had been coughing all the time. Yesterday, my other cat, Patches was also diagnosed Asthma. They aren't related. I asked how many other cats the vet had diagnosed w/ Asthma and he said ''none.''

My cat is not 2 and a half years old, about 1 year ago he got neutered. He is a stay indoorss cat, so obviously doesnt get as much exercise as a normal outdoor cat. Over the last 6 months i have noticed (more when he is walking around) hes has this lump of fat or skin hanging from just below his ribs maybe slightly lower, when he is walking it hangs further than his body. I took him to the vet which said it was just fat, but i have had several cats and never noticd this, do i need to have an xray done or what? nebody have ne ideas?

On friday we lost our beloved Garfield ( he was 17yrs old), I think now my Goo cat ( who is 14 or 15yrs old)is sick or acting out in grief ( she looks for garfield). I don't know if she is urinating somewhere else that I can't find, but I am only having to clean the liter box out once a day. Shouldn't she be urinating more often?
I was always so use to garf going constantly that I never really noticed how often Goo was using it. She does not act sick, is eating and wanting alot of extra love.

I am constantly brushing him but its his under belly that gets really matted because it gets so long. I just figured it would be best to give him a little trim with a good set of clippers. This way its not bothering him.

To be indoor only?. Long story short my kitty is extremely self-conscious about going to the bathroom inside the house, she will hold it until I let her go out and that worries me, the litter box has to be outside the door or she won't go. Because of this she became indoor/outdoor but she prefers to be indoor most of the time.

I have to move (you can read the reason in my questions) I want to get an apartment in a managed place where I don't have to constantly be harrased by the landlord but that will mean no yard I am doing my best to find a place with a balcony but it might not happen. How can I convince my cat that going inside the house is good and how can I make the apartment interesting for her so she won't get bored?.

Lately my cat has been laying on me when i'm in the bed..and this happens everyday...is she aware that she's laying on me or does she think i'm part of the bed?? She will lay on my chest, my legs, my stomach..or she might just put part of her body on me..why?? Oh and she ALWAYS rubs her head on me...Is this affection or does she think i'm some kind of inanimate object?

Like, I know it's a form of speech, but what makes them make the sound. I know the vocal cords but how is there's different than ours? And dogs. I hope this all makes sense.
