The other cat will hiss and growl and swat at him. Is there anything that I can do? Yesterday I got them both neutered and it's even worse!

The setup I have now is her litter box and food in my laundry room, but it gets really cold in there at night. I was thinking of adding a second 'setup' upstairs where it's warmer? Would this confuse her?

My cat was just spayed & declawed. Due to overactivity after her operation, she had to have a hernia operation. The vet says no activity but wont prescribe anything. Is there anything I can give her to calm her down and keep her from being active?

He stayed at a friend's house where he behaved normally - affectionate, active - now he runs away from us unless he wants food. Seems really sad

Hi

My friend's cat passed away peacefully a few days ago. He was a sweetheart and also very dear to my friend.

Can you suggest ways in which I can help my friend now?

- What are the things I can do?
- Are there things I can and cannot say to her now?
- I'd like for her to get another cat some day.
- How do I recommend this to her? Is this a good idea?
- Any other suggestions on what I can tell her or what I can do to help her?

Thanks!

She is 13, it'll cost $238, money isn't an issue, more worried about her not making it through the cleaning and coming out of it. She is in great health. Any advice?

I've heard of this everywhere, but I am obviously not sure how true it is. I doubted of it working, but I figured I'd see if anyone actually tried this and it worked. I have a small kitty, she was the first one- she's a year and a half old. Then I brought in my sister's giant cat (he's about 4 and a half) in to the home. It's only been a few days so of course they haven't been too nice to each other, but I feel bad for both cats. I don't want my cat to feel like I've replaced her and even after he leaves I don't want her upset with me for the situation I've placed her in. I also don't want him to feel like he's unloved, as he has been in several homes while my sister has been overseas. He's here for a while (At tops a year). Thanks!

There is only a small spot on the side of the litter box and only once in a while. It's not as though there is a lot of blood visible in her stool. She has had one litter months ago and she has been spayed since. Otherwise she is very active, happy and healthy.

My male cat gives my female cat a bath. He licks her all the time. It's so weird to watch him doing it. He will lick her non-stop until she gets tired of it and runs off. Is this normal? What does it mean?

I have two kitties. One is a male and the other one is a female. The male is 8 months already fixed and declawed, and the baby kitty is about 3 months and needs to get fixed and declawed. After getting the male kitty fixed and declawed his personality didn't change, actually he is more loveable then before. But I am worried about my female cat. Her personality is far different than the male cat. She is more hyper and loves to play. Can these procedures change her personality??

We adopted an adorable little black and white kitten that looks just like Sylvester. She appears to be around 5 to 6 months old, and even though we found her abandoned outside she knew to use the litter box. She is very affectionate and gets along fine with our other two female cats. We are going to get her fixed. We have given her two baths since we brought her in three weeks ago. The first time was to make sure there were no fleas or critters coming in with her. The second time was just a day or two later when we noticed that she smelled of poopie. We know she is using the litter box. She appears to keep her coat very clean. Could there be some health reason that she has this constant odor? She eats both dry and moist food? She is so pretty but her name is gonna be "Stinky" if we cant figure this out. Please, any ideas?
