Check with other shelters, and with the national Humane Society, they can point you in the right direction. Himalayan cats are very sweet and gentle natured, a great cat to have. My best friend has one, and he is a shelter rescue cat. Best Wishes!

Are you sure that the lucky recipient of this gift really wants it? Maybe you should just buy all the accessories, litterbox, scoop, bowls, toys, food, etc, and let the person pick out their own cat.
