My cat goes to toilet when i go to the toilet, he sleeps when i sleep, and eats only when i eat. He copies everything i do. When i read a magazine, he gets himself in front of my magazine as well. when i sit in front of the telly, he does the same.

Is this normal behavior for a cat?

my kitten always has something in his eye or seems as if his eyes get irritated easily. Do they make some type of eye drops or moisture drops for cats?

I will be getting a kitten soon for my 2 year old. We live in a condo so the cat will be inside all the time when we are at home. What are some things I should know about owning a indoor cat? Also, how do you keep from walking in the front door and knowing that a cat lives there? I have a friend who owns a cat and I can tell it everytime I enter her house by the smell. My sister-in-law also has 2 cats but you can't tell it when you walk in her house. So, for those of you who have indoor cats, do you use certain products to keep the smell away?

I don't know if its cuz he's so fat, but what I do know is he use to clean him self, (And when I say him self I'm mainly talking about the butt area) Now he doesn't and so its kinda sad and it can't that can't be good for a cat right? Plus its kinda gross...

i have a 7 year old dog with a gentle temperment and have newly aquired a 2 yr old cat. cat has been hiding behind the sofa since it arrived and hisses and boxes the dog when it gets the chance. dog is extremely alert and licks it chops when the cat meows and gets excited when close enough. anyone got any ideas on how to make them get along??? i'm feel sorry for the cat but the dog is the "queen of the house" because she was here first.
so far i have been taking the cat out and showing it to the dog (while on sit and stay) and they just seem to stare at each other. dont want to get rid of either so they are going to have to get along. any bright ideas?? or how long do you think they'll take to get along????? thanks!!!

I have a 5yr old female spayed cat who until we moved (almost 3 months ago), only ever came inside the house to eat, now she will not step foot outside and if we try to encourage her she will cry a deep gutteral cry immediately the door is shut on her, until she is let back in.
We have had to get her a litter tray again which she did not need before and I am getting sick of being woke up with the smell after she has used the tray as we are limited to where we can put it because of the layout of the new house.
Any suggestions would be gratefully recieved.

he got cut by a tree branch on his back hip about a month ago, my other cat has been keeping it clean for him, it doesnt seen to be bothering him but sometime it will puss. I can't afford to take him to a vet, I wanted to know if it would be a good idea to put hydrogen peroxide or iodine on it, like i said its not bothering him and seems to be healing alright, think i should just leave it alone?

My cat by mistake got out of the house when I was in the hospital. She had been outside since September 06 I finally caught her today and she is very skinny and scared. She has been a house cat since birth (that's 2 years) and my other cats don't remember her. What should I do to get the other cats not to beat her up? And what can I do to make her not scared?

Mine loves to eat grass and if I gave him the whole box which i got from the pet store he will eat it. Once I left the box unattended and he ate so much that he puked it after that. But since I know he likes it I try to get him new grass occasionally.

This is a five year old cat, her owner is leaving the country and I would like to offer a home for her. I know nothing much about cats, but there will be people around here who can help me and the cat. How do I make her feel welcome? I have a small garden but am hesitant to let her go out at least at the beginning so she does not run away. I have no other pets.
