I have two solid grey male cats and it's all most impossible to tell them about. Im getting a red collar for one of them. What color should I get for the other? I was thinking maybe blue? I also have a black and white female she's getting a pink one with rhinestones.

My cat is seemingly in heat, and I was wondering if we should worry about her bleeding? I've noticed that dogs may bleed at this time, but do cats?
Any help would be wonderful.

...We are taking her to a vet hopefully this week but does anyone have some clue what it is?
She is a 5 year old Ragdoll.
It's underneath her skin and about the size of a 5p peice. It's not hard but then again it's not soft either; It doesn't hurt her at all when we touch it.
We have 2 other male cats who she fights with a lot and my first thought that it might have been an infection from a scratch, could this be it?

I own a cat and the people up the street from me let her in and feed her after repeated stern warnings. We are now considering police involvement. They call us all the time to tell us she is on their porch even if we just barely let her out cuz we allow her to go out. We have told them at least a hundred times. They don't listen. And lately they have let her in and called me to go and get her. They had me enter their house to get her. I am so upset. My cat is 8 years old. I don't know how much longer she has. They created this problem by letting her in a couple of years ago. If anyone knows please tell me.

I have a 6 month old cat. She is not declawed yet and she keeps scratching chunks of hair and skin out of her face. It's gotten pretty bad and she wont stop scratching at it. It's only on her face. Do you have any ideas of what it could be. I know its not fleas because its only effecting her head.

I have a cat and she's been mean and violent since the day I brought her home. (6 years ago) I got her from a yard sale in my community and she escaped when I was taking her to my car. She took off and ran head first into a house window, shook it off and kept running. We eventually caught up with her and brought her home. She bites VERY hard and scratched us like crazy for no reason. I finally had to break down and take her to the vet to be declawed (front only) and fixed and when I went to pick her up after the surgeries the Vet made me go into the back room to get her because he said she was the meanest cat he'd ever seen. Just about a 1/2 hour ago she was laying on the floor and I bent down to pick up something next to her and she jumped up and bit my hand (inbetween my thumb and finger) and scratched the heck out of me!!! I didn't even touch her.... could she have brain damage from hitting the window 6 years ago? I've never seen a cat like this.....

We had a friend watch her so she wasn't left alone, seems like she was eating fine before. Since we've been home (2 days) she's eaten about 2 tablespoons of food.

Anyone else have this experience with their pet? Should I be worried?

I'm moving to Malta in 2-3 months. I have four adult cats that will be traveling with me. They will need to spend around four months in quarantine.

Does anyone have experience of putting their pets into quarantine anywhere, I'm worried that the experience will stay with them and affect my relationship with them over time.

I have a "teenage" cat who has been coughing for the last 3 days. I thought he had a furball at first, but now it has gone on too long. He is otherwise acting fine; eating, playing, etc. Do cats get colds? Any thoughts?

Got a new lovely kitten about 3 weeks ago (he is about 10 weeks old). I don't have any experience with this little thing and now I just wonder how much longer is it gonna take him to get used to litter tray. I have 2 trays and I'm keeping them as clean as possible. When I got the second one things were going fine for 4 or 5 days but then he started to go elsewhere again. I keep showing him and even moved the tray to place where he goes to.
Another advice I need for is...he keeps sleeping in my bed and using it as a tray. How do I keep him away? I put treats in different places, keep taking him off the bed but he just won't get it and keeps jumping back up. Thanks for all the advices

I used to have a canopy around my bed and then I got kittens.
I have had them for five months and I'm not sure if they are going to rip it up. I took it down because I knew that they were little and they didn't understand and so now that they are bigger I'm not sure if it's time to put it back up.
(Sorry, it sounds like a stupid question but I don't want to go out a buy a new one if I can prevent them from ripping it up in the first place)

She refuses to sleep in her new bed for some strange reason. Its lovely and warm, soft n cosy and half enclosed. At first i thought it might make her feel suffocated but i find her sleeping in really tight dark corners all the time. She's also quite old (18yrs) so i thought she might not like new things but when i placed a new cushion next to the bed she preffered to sleep on the cushion than inside the cosy bed! I don't understand? why doesn't she like it? It was bought to keep her warm at night as she suffers from arthritis but she just isn't interested. We've had it for over a month now and its caught all the homely smells so still can't imagine why she wont curl up on it?

I have a 15 yr old female cat. We recently moved to another state and are living with a relative that has two cats--one female and one male. My cat has always been the only cat in the house and is not willing to make friends. Usually they ignore each other or hiss when they see each other, but within the last week my cat has started urinating on the carpet outside the two other cats' room. The house is very open ( a 3 story town house) and it is not easy to keep the cats in separate locations. Is this behavior a territory marking issue? Any suggestions on how to handle this?

Thanks

I have an 8 year old cat that I am considering having declawed but was told that if I thought of how the proceedure was done, I'd reconsider. I was told to think of myself as a cat, look at my hands at the first knuckle up from my fingernail and try to vision this part of my hand gone. This is how cats are declawed. In other words, the claws aren't cut off, the entire first joint of the cats claw are cut off. This sounds very painful. Any comments from anyone? Veterinarians welcome to respond. Thanks!
