i just rescued to kittens, im not sure how old they are, maybe about 6 weeks. I have them in my garage right now but it's getting cold and I want to bring them in the house. They are covered in fleas and I don't want them to get to my dog. Iwasn't sure how to get rid of them, I read somewhere that shampoos can be toxic to kittens. How can I get rid of all the fleas?

My cat got her shots today for feline leukemia, rabies and another one I am not sure what it was called, but one that reccomended. She also got worm medicine in case she had worms, which she never had symptoms of, it was just a preventative measure. Now she is acting lethargic and anotsocial, as if she does not feel too well. I am worried about her, and wondering if the shots or worm medicine could make her feel ill, or if something else is bothering her? I am not sure of her age, I got her as an adult, but I would say maybe 2 years old.

I only know how cats mate by seeing the neighbors cats do it.
The smaller male is grabbing the larger kitten by the neck with his teeth and holding him down.
The vet will not fix them till they are 6 months old. They are 4 months now,
I know dogs will go through the motions of mating even if both are male. But do cats too?

My cat is really ticklish on her back paws. I was just wondering if their was a special reason that she doesn't like me touching them.

I've had cats my whole life and have fed them these brands. I have heard things about these foods and how they are not good for your cat. However since i'm just a college grad w/ a not so huge income i would like to know if these are any good (specifically which is the best?) and if there is anything better for the same price (or just a little pricier) thanx

I have a one year beautiful black cat with green eyes name Owen. I adopted him last year from a not so good home and there was no momma cat around to feed him so he was taken away from her pretty early on ( abt 3 weeks old) I bottle fed him with kitty formula until he was able to eat on his own. For the most part I feed him a varity of different brands of dry cat food and once in a while some wet food as a treat. I have two other cats as well and I keep the bowl filled with fresh water and food at all times. Owen is very under weight and I cannot figure out how to get him to gain some (very boney!) any suggestions? ...Melissa.

I mean, if you want to let a cat outside, you should at least watch over it, right? Or sometimes it can stay in your backyard, right?

Last night when i was handing out candy for halloween, some trick-or-treaters brought it to my attention that my cat was on the rrof and he was staring at them! I had seen other cats on my street do this before, but i never knew my cat also did it until last night. why do cats do this?

I am thinking about getting a kitten. But I can't stand the spray. People say there are ways to keep your cat from spraying, but I have heard cases that those things didn't work either.

There's a lot of talk here and elsewhere about the advantages of having neutral kitties.

I'm a bit of a lefty, and her adoptive father can lean towards the right, so things are already problematic enough. If she'd just refuse to take sides, that might be an improvement. But is neutrality really enough? Are their objectivist operations for cats?

After your cat became neutral, did she reconcile with assertions such as "kittens are cute," without feeling the need to obscure the issue by eating bugs? Was he truly neutral, or merely non-belligerent? Etc. All observations welcomed.

Hi everyone. I just want to thank those of you that helped me with my quwarion about my kitten's loose stool. I want you all to know that she is eating great now, and drinking water, and her stools have stiffened up.

My next question is: should i leave (dry) food out for her 24/7? or should i just feed her x times a day?

Thanks!

LMK

We have had a (stray)cat hanging around and he would meow everytime I came home and when I would give him food. Now, he opens his mouth and appears to be trying to meow--but no sound is coming out. He's a stray and I really am not prepared to take on some big vet bills--so I was hoping someone here might know.
