Vets determine an animal's approximate age by the condition of the teeth. This is something they are trained in extensively, and it is nearly impossible for the average lay person to determine the age of an animal in this way. Ask a vet, they'll know.

if ur cat is under 20 pounds, then its first year is by seven, and then each year the numer goes down by one. its like this. yr1: 7
yr2:13
yr3:19
yr4:25
and so on...

umm take him to the vet theyll be able to tell
otherwise i think you can look at its teeth or something.. thats what they did with my dog.. or you can look at how hes proportioned.. if it still looks like hes oddly proportioned, then hes porbly still a kitten

if its a girl stick your finger in its private part and if it comes out in 2 inches then its older than 4 years old
