I got a cat about 2 months ago. She has never gone into the babys crib before. Today I found her sleeping in it 3 different times. How can I make her stop in an effective way that doesn't involve hitting her or anything like that. Thanks

So tomorrow I am adopting a kitten from a rescue place. I am having a hard time picking between three of them because they all liked me and stayed by my side and wanted attention. The grey one in the picture I think is a Maine Coon and I've seen pictures and they seem to grow into a big cat. Then there is the black cat and a tabby cat. I've included pictures!

The tabby kitten:

One of my cats is blind in one eye and she walks with her good eye centered and her head is tilted because of this. On top of that she often has her tongue sticking out and it makes my heart melt every time. I'd like to hear about your silly cats.

We love her she's sweet and nice except when it comes to our older cat Lucy. All Lilly wants to do is pounce on Lucy. Everyone says let them work it out between themselves, which we'd love to do but when we tried that Lilly kept pouncing and pouncing on Lucy and Lucy was getting hurt. And then Monday Lucy refused to come in for the night (we let Lucy come and go in or out as she pleases during the day but we bring her inside at night). I'm afraid she's going to have enough of Lilly and run away (she was out well past dark Monday night which is something she's never done in her life, and it was cold which always brings her inside). Has anyone had this problem? If so did it work out, and what did you do? I'm getting tired of all the stress!

This is a drag because her appointment to get fixed is on Wednesday. Do I have to postpone the vet appointment till she's back to normal? She seems uncomfortable. All the yowling and whatnot. Is there anything I can do to help her calm down?

I'm going to extend my invitation one more time.Who wants to go to the cat twirling/tossing finals. Those little fur balls sure have a good time being hurled thru the air into the water tub and retrieved by the pit bull attendance.

We had to put our 8 year old cat down today because her uterus was so large and it was pushing all her organs. And while in the vets office, she had a seizure.. the vet said if we would have put her through an operation, she would have died on the table. She was weak, and her veins kept collapsing. My question is, does anyone know if it is painful to be euthanized? I wasnt there, I couldnt go.. it was too sad..and I was a wreck. I always thought they get tired, close their eyes and go to sleep. But my husband said she took a deep breath and that was it. Her eyes were still open and everything. I just hope her final moments were peaceful.

My kitten has been having really bad diarriea, I took him to the vet and they said it was b/c I switched his food (I actually switched it to the really healthy purina brand) and nothing was in his stool sample. They also said to give him some yogurt, especially activia b/c it would kill bad bacteria. He is still getting sick. Can I give him pepto or is there anything else I can do for him? He is healthy otherwise, runs around, cleans himself. He doesn't eat his food well b/c hes smart enough to know it makes him sick, even the yogurt is making him sick. He whines everytime we make food or eat so I know hes hungry, any suggestions?

Pretty simple. Why do cats like to lick people's heads? The only thing I can think of is that they enjoy the salty taste of the sweat residue. Any cat experts care to answer?

I have a 9 year old male maine coon cat and for a month and 2 weeks he's been peeing either in the dining room or in the spare bedroom. I have had to take him in for uninary tract infection before and when they gave him medication he got better of it. At first I thought it was because his litter box if that was not cleaned but after I clean it in his outdoor house. Btw he's an indoor cat, and even when its cleaned or I take him out early he still does it.
What am I going to do I lost my job and can't afford to take him to the vet? Can anyone help me ? Worried in North Carolina

I'm getting upset at how bony he's getting. Does anyone know of any supplements that would help him fill out again? He'd not emaciated, it's just his back has gotten bony, his tummy seems fine. I realize its' probably just old age, but its scarey. He still acts the same and his personality hasn't changed at all, and he's still very active. Can't find any lumps or growths, but of course it could be still be cancer. Guess I'm hoping there's some wonder drug that will make him fill out again and not grow old.

He knows where the doggy door is. His litter is outside by the stairs. I get him there . He knows how to jump back into it leads him through the kitchen. But he has no clue yet, when to go tinckle by himself. When can I expect him to be independent?
