and/or treating the polarfleece so that it does not attract cat hair so much? (Ways already tried: fabric softener, antistat laundry sheets to make the fabric less sticky, lint rollers and masking tape to remove the cat hair.) Getting rid of the cats isn't an option, and they are brushed regularly to minimize their shedding.

Does anyone know if a cat is able to recognise a person? If my cat didn't see me for a few weeks would she recognise me when she next saw me? Would she miss me when I'm not there?

I am wondering if you can get away with more than two pets if you own a private condo.

I can't tell if my cat is sick, & would like some help. Recently, he has lost a significant amount of weight (to name one issue), however he eats regularly as he always has. He drinks the same amount of water, & I think his bathroom habits are the same. He's always been playful, rather active & hasn't had fleas or any other illness that I'm aware of.

I've been letting him out a lot lately. The only visible issue is a small case of fleas, but his attitude has been out of control. We have another cat, whom he doesn't get along with & has hissed at & fought with. Recently, he's started craving a lot of attention, howling more, & has started hissing & growling at me, & scratching violently, just after getting attention or fed.

He's never been so genuinely aggressive, & with the weight loss & constant attention need, I can't help but think something is wrong. It's like I've swapped cats with the neighbor.

Does anyone have any insight as to what may be wrong, if anything?

My (non-fixed)cat ran away yesterday, I actually found it last night in the bushes outside my house, but it ran away when I tried to pick it up and now I can't find it. I put some food out for it and it came and at ate but again ran away. What can I do to catch it? If I leave the food out do you think it will come back tomorrow? This is the 3rd time she's ran away but before we found her in hours and its been over a day now.

Okay. I am 20 and I am about to sound like a 10 year old, just to warn you. I have wanted a cat for years, ever since we got rid of our dog. Lately my family has just happened to be around kittens a lot, my deceased Grandpa's cat had kittens that we had to care for, and just last night I ended up with a kitten that was found out in the country. I really really really want this cat but my parents won't let me have one in their house. They are afraid it will get on the kitchen table, etc. Is there any websites or anything saying how to keep cats from doing these things? PLEASE HELP ME GET THIS KITTEN! :) Thanks!

Does anyone know if Clavamox 125mg pills (twice daily) is too high of a dosage for a cat? I have read that cats should not be given more than 62.5mg twice daily, however, the vet prescribed the 125mg. My cat has been vomiting from it, and the doc said to reduce it to once a day every other day then. I thought antibiotics had to be given consistently, or else they won't work. Can I break them in half, and give him half in the morning and half at night? Thank you!

I had friends over on Halloween (2 days ago) and they fed my male kitten (6 months old) a few spicy doritos. Since then, my cat has gained a loss in appetite and sleeps all day (as opposed to being playful all day usually). I'm curious to know what is wrong with my cat, and if there's anything I can do myself to make my cat better again.

My poor kitty Buttons went missing for 3 days. We found him about 40 feet up in a tree smack in the middle of pen with 3 German Shepherds. When we got the dogs away, he jumped and I took him home. He slept for a day and a half but jerked like he was having a bad dream the whole time. Will he be traumatized? And if we hadn't found him would he have died up there or gotten down eventually? Where did he go to the bathroom?

I've had a female Seal Point here for a couple months and just got a new female kitty. My original kitty is hissing and trying to attack the other girl who seems oblivious. Will they eventually get along perhaps or is there something I can do to help them get over it?

I know this will sound wierd. I have 2 female cats, black and white (shown in my display pic). I have had them for about 5 months. I tried to name them. Any other pet I had named itself by personality. These won't. I can't name them something that doesn't suit them. Maybe I'm trying too hard. Or maybe a few suggestions would help. Thanks.

I have a male, nuetered, 8 year old cat. He is known to get into scuffles with other cats in the neighborhood. He has never gotten an abcess from any cat bite... Recently we have been finding burst abcesses under his armpit, any takes on this? The vet said he really doesnt know the cause that it "happened". Im not so sure Second opinion please? Lol

My cat likes to run around crazy at night & makes this funny sound. It's almost like a meow but he doesn't open his mouth so it's more like a humming sound. Does anyone know why cats do this? Thank you
