I am wondering if you can get away with more than two pets if you own a private condo.

Hi there...I'd advise against this because most condo associations can financially penalize residents as well as enforce removal legally if you break the bylaws and if you are a renter they can have you evicted. Furthermore, if the city/town you reside in has a legal limit of pets per household like ours in Seattle only allows 3 animals per home regardless of home or pet size this would be additional grounds for taking legal action against you and you will responsible for the attorney fees associated to the process.

Your neighbours may notice the different cats in your household and report it to the association board/management as well so it's not worth the risk to the well-being of the cats and your peace of mind.

This would not only be devastating for the two extra cats, but a heartbreaker for you as well.

It would depend on how clean you keep your litter box, I'd imagine. Also whether your cats walk around meowing at 3am like one of mine does. Otherwise, I don't see why anyone would. One final consideration, however, is that some cities have bylaws limiting how many cats you can legally own. The City I live in limits you to three cats per household. Just something to bear in mind.

Lish...it so hard to hide cats since they like to sit in windows. Your neighbors or the management will see them and then you have to be forced to give them away. The other kitties would miss them and I'm sure you would be sad too. Please don't take a chance if you haven't already done this. It's so sad because kitties need to stay with their families if they are well cared for and loved as there are so many unwanted kitties in this world. I hope you understand.

No, I have always had four cats, Tito, Tony, Gato and Shaq pack in places where they werent aloud or only one to two aloud, As long as you pay your rent, it dont matter, if they find out you have more and threaten to evict you, offer to pay rent for your cats. And tell your cats to get a job.

should be able to as long as you keep the litter box(es) clean enough so no one would notice the smell. And don't take all 4 to the vet at once or anything for neighbors to notice.
