My (non-fixed)cat ran away yesterday, I actually found it last night in the bushes outside my house, but it ran away when I tried to pick it up and now I can't find it. I put some food out for it and it came and at ate but again ran away. What can I do to catch it? If I leave the food out do you think it will come back tomorrow? This is the 3rd time she's ran away but before we found her in hours and its been over a day now.

yeah keep putting food out for the cat she/he will come back. I would advise you to get her/him fixed the reason she/he maybe running away is bc she he/she has a boyfriend or girlfriend.
GOOD LUCK

Your cat is probably in heat and will continue this behavior until you have her fixed.
Call up Friends of Animals or the Humane Society in your area and ask for a certificate to have your cat fixed.
They can also give you tips on how to catch her.
You may need a pet carrier with some catnip inside to coach her in.
Once she is fixed you will have a loving pet once again.
If she is not fixed most likely she and any kittens she has will meet up with hardship.

If she's been back once for food, she'll probably come back again. Maybe you can wait to catch her this time. I hope it works. I love our three cats and that would be heart wrenching if any of them ran away.

Honey, I think your cat may be in heat. It is normal for a cat in heat to sneak out of the house to try and find... ya know... If she's not back within 3 days, I'd start putting up signs :)

make a trap. or talke to this girl. She's good and she knows what she's doing. she told me where my cat was and told the cat i was coming to give it some treats. my cat was 60 miles away after 5 months of being missing..
