Sounds like Peanut is the runt. He will probably always be small. Give him some kitty vitamins. Let the vet check him out, but I think he'll be ok! Good luck!

I've been caring for cats for about 40 years. They are all individuals, and quite frankly, it is possible for cats from one litter to have more than one father. Ask your vet if you think I'm kidding.
Insofar as males are concerned, I've noticed that my males are usually busy growing until they are about two. It's only after that that they start to bulk up. I feed Royal Canin dry and Friskies canned and everyone gets plenty to eat. A year old male still has a lot of growing up to do before he starts to grow out.
Just make sure he is getting his fair share of the food. With multiple cats, you should probably be keeping a couple of bowls of dry food out and available at all times. That way, they can eat whenever they feel hungry. Cats are naturally nocturnal animals. That means that most of their wake time is when we are asleep. If you don't have food available and he is hungry in the middle of the night, he doesn't get to eat.
That being said, I wouldn't worry too much about his size, as long as the vet says he is healthy.

If he was the runt of the litter, he very well may just be destined to be small. It sounds like you are taking good care of him and he is eating fine.
Chances are if he did have worms, all the rest of the kitties would too and they would all be thin. If it is just him it may just be the way he is. :)
Congrats on adopting furry babies and being a great cat mom. :)

Actually it's normal. Most male ( and female) cats will gain weight after getting "fixed",and some cats won't gain any weight. As long as you are not seeing any unusual signs I would not worry. From what you wrote sound like he is living every cat's dream.

I thought the same about my latest cat. The vet just said she was a "skinny minny." She is healthy, but just on the lean side. Your vet will tell you more, but just like people, cats can have different physiques.

tape worms are not the only kids of worms cats can get.. I assume he was vaccinated when neutered... some cats get thin genetics or some get poor genes... especially if inbred.. the vet will tell you if he is healthy or not

I have two cats--half brother and sister. She weighs 6 pounds and he weighs 13 pounds. It is all individual.
