I bought him so many toys already...I tried yelling, spray water on his face...everything...today i was walking, he bit me so hard on my toe that it bled, I'm kinda pissed off now...I treat him so well, he bit me so hard. My dog would never do that to me...cats are stupid i guess...

I bought a kitten last October. Even though I exclusively feed, clean, brush and play with the cat, she seems to have become more attached to my wife, jumping into her lap nightly, while I am lucky to get her to do that once every couple of weeks with me. It's a bit annoying considering I was the one who wanted the cat. In the first few months it wasn't like this, only in the past few. I had gone back to work full time last April while my wife and kids are at home. Could this have something to do with it, i.e she's around the cat more than me?

She does not have any scratches on her, she is strictly indoors, about 3-5 years old. She HAS had ringworm in the past. Could it be ringworm if she doesn't go outside? The missing hair patch is about 1inx2in. It doesn't look to be discolored in any way. She doesn't seem to have pain from it, but she does lick it quite a bit. My husband said it feels like if there is some rising to it, it's very little, because the patch of skin felt pretty normal. She's part siamese/short hair. Thanks for any help you can provide.

About 2 weeks ago we rescued a Kitten that was stuck between a chain link fence and a wood fence when we were having a severe heat spell here in California. He is around I would guess 6 weeks now. he was almost weaned when we found him so we did not have to feed him milk.
That said,
When he lays on his back his front paws and back paws shake uncontrollably. Is it possible that he has a nerve problem or is it just something that he has due to being so young? He is otherwise healthy.

My cat is a little over a year now and I do not wish to have her spade. It's almost cruel, I think. But she is driving me CRAZY when she is in heat. I tried to take her outside so she could get it on and she scratched me up because she is a spoiled, terrified of the outside house cat. I guess I am ready for some GRAND KITTENS but I don't know anyone with a male cat. Advice?

He's orange, like Morris or Garfield.

He's a half-wild kitten that someone dumped out in the country. When my mom found him, he looked like skin & bones.

if they want pup/kit then they just let their pet get pregnant. that is soooooooo totally wrong I think. you are saving a innocent life by adopting from the SPCA or shelter. people don't want to pay for adoption fee, gas, or waist time. people are soooooo ignorant and selfish these days. in my opinion, adopting from a shelter or SPCA is the BEST way to get a dog/cat. I adopted my 5 month old kitten from my SPCA about a month ago. my 2 year old female was a stray who I just happen to pick up and take home (some loser dumped her at a car wash). anyways, what do you think? do you agree with me? it's my opinion. the only way that I will ever have a cat/dog again is if I find them as a stray or decide to adopt one from the SPCA or shelter. I don't support breeders and never will. mixed breeds are the GREATEST!!!!

I have a 3-year-old cat who eats Royal Canin Indoor Cat Formula 37, and I have a 4-month-old kitten I started on Iams Kitten. I don't know if it's just because he wants to do what my other cat does, but he won't eat his own food---he likes to eat hers! Some of his food looks to be gone, too, so I don't know if they're eating each other's or if he's eating out of both. So this is kind of a two-parter:

1. Will eating the other's food hurt either one of them?
2. How can I get them to stick to their own dishes?

Our cat who is 9 has started to go to the toilet in different places throughout our apartment (we moved into it 3 wks ago from a duplex)
At first he was going in his box we placed in our on-suite bathroom, but now he is leaving 'calling cards' in different areas which is very puzzling to us.

I have 2 black and white pattern kittens, both male, that i'm stuck for clever names for. My mother names her cats after greek and egyptian gods. Great idea, i'm looking for something like that..but still i'm stuck for something fitting of a black and white kitten. One is shy, the other is bold. Any ideas?

I have to cats called Princess and Perry, bolth of them are spayed and nutered. Perry is a nutered male, Princess spayed female. Princess is sometimes pushed around by Perry, this morning she was growling and tried to hide from Perry. I'm not sure what to do. It is not that serious, but I need some advice on what might cause this, and how to stop it. Thanks!

Hi. Me and my wife recently got 2 new male kittens. We already have a 4 year old cat. She is a shy girl. She wont come up to people unless she knows them or feels very comfrtable around them right away (rare) and even when she wants to nuzzle with us she likes to be invited before jumping on you (she will squek to let you know). Anyway we followed all instruction we could find, introducing them slowly even useing plug ins and oils that you put on there ears. Well they haven't gotten into an all out fight but our cat seems pretty scared of them. I am particularly concerned b/c one of the cats is somewhat aggressive (not in a mean way but well he seems like and alpha male). At times I even think he is doing stuff to upset my cat- sitting in her favorite spot when she gets up or tring to keep her away from her litter box. I am not usre about those last things but I feel bad for my cat and I would like to keep them all but I really want her to be happy. Any advice

I always try to think of things that people would really get excited about getting for their birthday. This is the first time I've given a gift to a cat. I know it is somewhat cruel to the mouse, but I know my cat will be really excited and I can't think of any thing that she would be happier with. Besides people buy these mice to feed to their snakes.
