I don't think it would be good for the cat especially if she is attached to you.If your mom is really serious about you giving up your cat then I would suggest an animal shelter because then they would spray her and find her a loving and caring home. Even though it might be hard for you to give her up; you got to think of what is best for your cat.

Talk to your mum. Tell her that it wouldn't be reponsible of you to get rid of your cat. Explain to her what being a responsible pet owner is about, that you've come to share a bond with this cat, and that you want to keep her. Kick and scream if you have to. There are many ways you can find good homes for these kittens. The reality of getting rid of THIS cat is that there is a good chance she will not be able to find a home because she is an adult. The reality of it is that she will probably be put to sleep. This cat needs to be spayed. Perhaps you can do some jobs around home, or your neighbourhood to save up some money for this. Ask your vet if there's a way you could get a discounted spaying and tell him about your situation. I wish you all the best in turning your mum around so you can keep your cat. You're both in my thoughts.

If you have the cat spayed she won't get pregnant. It doesn't cost that much and the cat would have no more kittens for you to have to worry about. Talk to your Mom and see if she will take the cat to the vet for this. If she still insists on you giving her away then see if you can find her a nice home or take her to a no kill shelter. I think the cat would miss you very much but if she has to go make sure she is going to be safe.

Cats are very dependent creatures, even though they pretend not to be. They usual bond with one or two people, and they are Their people. You should find out the cheapest place to get your cat spayed, and to get its Vx's. Call around, see if their are any rescue places that give out coupons for a discounted for free fix. If your mom continues to be stubborn and you do end up having to get rid of the cat, make sure that it goes to a good home who is going to take care of it, and not just throw it outside, contact some no-kill shelters, and they can help you find a home. Good luck!

No, it probably wouldn't be good for the cat. It's not really good to keep having one litter after the other either. See if your mom will let you keep her if she gets spayed so she won't have any more kittens. The humane society doesn't charge much for that ($28 where I live).

If she still won't let you keep her, see if you can find someone who will give her a home and take good care of her.

if u so have to get rid of the cat dont worry cats learn to love who ever takes care of them so she will be fine but i would try to compromise with your mother by getting the cat fixed and if she is worried about the cost offer to help pay for it if u dont work then try to do odd jobs around the house or babysit, mow lawns anything u can do

Why is your cat still intact? Go get the thing fixed and it won't get pregnant. Do not let it outside when it is in heat. Really, if you want a cat, you need to be responsible.

Call the local animal shelter and see if they have a phone number for a low cost vet so you can get her fixed. When I was growing up in NY I know they *USED* to give out coupons for free or at least reduced cost spaying and neutering.

if it's because of the abundance of kittens, just sell them there are plenty of buyers out there for kitten and puppies who would love a new pet! and if the cat keeps gettin pregnant while in your care, then u must be doing something right b/c she feels comfortable enough to continue it without leaving or such... research it and tell ur mom the benefits of keeping the cat... GOOD LUCK!!!

Take the cat to a veterinarian and have it spayed (neutered). After that, the cat can't get pregnant.
