I have three cats, all indoors all aopted through shelters or rescued.

Hi Sami,
They are all "mutt" cats I guess. All domestic short hair. One is a tuxedo cat, one is an all black cat (who just had her 10th birthday yesterday!) and one is black and white, almost looks like he is wearing a batman mask).

nope, cause i sure dont think my dear sweet poppa who is 92 is a sissy, his best buddy tabby will be with him to the end........and i'm privileged to go on this last journey with them both living with us........God bless you, cats make sweet buddies,as do dogs!!!

No it does not.
Once a cat has lived in a person's home, they learn that cats are very loving and cozy when given plenty of space. That's exactly how most women are, too!! So, a man who loves cats will also be wonderful at living with women.
Men who prefer dogs love that ego-boosting feeling when the dog is all in your face and showing you how much they love you.
But a well-adjusted man does not need somebody to go through hysterics to show their love.

No, it does not make you a sissy that you have three cats that you love. In fact cat's are harder pets to gain trust from. You have to build trust and work harder toward giving cat's attention then you would per say...a dog. I love dogs myself but it's proven that they are easier to gain affection vs cat's. So instead of feeling like a sissy, reconsider your feelings by acknowledging that in fact it may mean that you are more of an affectionate loyal man with a good heart to adopt or rescue your three loveable cats.

Absolutely not. A real man who shows kindness to children and animals demonstrates the qualities of a true, good man. Anybody who dislikes cats because they're "supposed to" because of gender is not only less of a man, but an absolute imbecile.

I hate to say that you are a sissy, but...
J/K I really don't like cats or their owners because they (the owners) normally don't take responsibility for them. They let them run around unfixed and get surprised to find out that their cat had kittens.

Well... if you are then I am also.. I love cats.. they are the most interesting pet I have ever had. I do not know how any household could do without a cat or at minimum, a dog.

i am a cat lover and cats are very nice animals although ppl might think that they are femine...and do gs are more manly
but u have the right to have any pet u want as long as u love it and u take good care of it..
i personaly own 11 cocakils..(birds) and i feel like they are one of the family.

I dont think to love cats makes you a cissy....specially since you adopted them froma a shelter.........Its a nice thing to do and it shows you like animals and you have given them a good home......they will love you for it ..even thought cats are independent creatures....they are very loving ......and im sure they are always happy to see you when you get home from work.....I think its wonderful........Enjoy and be happy.

Some people are dog people, some are cat people! It all depends on what you like and how you get along with your feline friend!
