Supervise them at first. They will eventually get along. Let them play together and don't interfere unless one or the other starts to hurt the other. Two and 1/2 months and 11 weeks is pretty much the same age. Unless one is significantly larger than the other, they will not be able to hurt each other.

Hmmm, 2-1/2 months is very nearly 11 weeks, you know, so it isn't an age thing. The kitten you've had longer is mad at the intruder. He'll either get over it, or they'll work out territories within your house. If there are two people there, you might want to each let a kitten adopt you.

keep the kitten separated. Procede with the neutering. the subsequent section is slow, the slower the greater clever. this would take days, weeks or months, yet while they have a lot of time, you have greater success in them being pals and the kitten would have time to advance up some. Now, do you have a room the place they are able to have "touch" during the door? enable them to get used to a minimum of one yet another's heady scent and notice the different one under the door for a at the same time as. Then positioned them of their crates and enable them to look at one yet another. the subsequent step is to enable them to out with supervision for short era of circumstances, extending the time, until eventually they get used to a minimum of one yet another and can be left at the same time each and all of the time. slow creation is the substantial.

Yes. They are so close in age - they will become best buddies.
We raise pedigree cats & it bothers me to hear "oh I should get kittens of the opposite sex.." Etc. We have had two pet males that absolutely adored each other. That's a separate story.
You have a couple kittens there that will form a close bond. As my husband says "they each like their own". TWO cats, TWO dogs. You and me - My husband and me.

They will undoubtably get along famously! There will be posturing, hissing etc. for a little while. Kittens quickly learn that it is so much more fun to play than fight.

Don't worry too much about it. They'll start to get along pretty soon. But you do have to let them get used to each other at their own pace

You have to give them a chance to get to know one another. They will soon. It will help if you get them both fixed. Not now when they are 4 months old.

they probably just need a little time to get to know each other. keep watching them and make sure that their interactions with each other are all supervised for the next few weeks. they might hiss at each other for a while, but just make sure no all-out fights ensue.

No, they are young enough to eventually adapt to each other. Give it time, and ignore them. Let them figure it out.
