What can I feed a hawk to keep him from eating smaller birds?

if so how?? cuz this budgie is scarily vicious and is sitting on the egg like a chicken.
and how do i stop it from laying eggs cuz its done it before but it fell outa the cage

my parakeets feather started to fall off from where he goes to the bathroom up like in a line, i think there all gona fall off. and when he poops its like diarrea, it was yellowish and with like 1 drop of blood and right before it he was churping or singing really loud it seemed like he was going to have a baby. is he probably gona die? please help as fast as you can. thanks in advance

I have just seperated my male and female budgie in the same cage with a bar seperation so that they can see each other. I have seperated them because my male budgie seems to be breaking every egg she lays.But now my male budgie becomes very hyper and trys every possible way to get to her.
Should I bring another budgie to keep him company??
Should it be a male or female?? or should i bring a pair??

this morning (10-9-07) my exotic black and white homing pigeon came to my sliding glass door injured! when i opened the door he limped inside & hid in a corner! i found two spots of blood where i think it is the spot he got hurt.... i think one of his feet are broken, cause he is limping.... the leg works fine... but not the foot... and then he just sits there.... only breathing..... i saw his mate flying around earlier... but she just dissapeared... i can't find her now!


PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!! HELP! I AM ONLY 13..... I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO! AND I DONT WANT MY PIGEON TO DIE!!!!!!

I just figured shes a girl, I think she is atleast. She didn't mate, but I read that they will still lay eggs. She has a little "bump" on her chest, and I noticed once she had some dried up blood there. At first I thought it was from always landing on her chest (wings clipped) from trying to fly so much. She starts to sleep more and when I touch the "bump" she starts to "stand" more so I won't touch it. I think it hurts when I do that. Whats going on?

I already know what kind of bird this is since I see them all the time in my backyard and surrounding area. This particular bird was seen in my backyard about two years ago or so, in NJ. Easy ten points, but they are beautiful aren't they?

if you buy a bird and you have a 15 days warranty, so if they're sick or anything you can bring them back for money back or to get a new one...For people who works in pet stores or even people who has bird stores or anything...what do you do with the birds? Do you send them to an avian vet or you just let them die? Cause i heard that some places won't do nothing with the really sick bird! i have one and i wonder if i bring him back, will they take care of him? he was with lots of other cockatiels, maybe they are sick too, i don't want another bird, i just lost my other one (had to put him to sleep :'(.... and i bought this one and he is sick and was when i got home, which i did not know and they did not tell me! i told them he looks lil bit sick, and they told me he was fine! People who works in pet stores, do they even know something about animals or they just want to sell the birds? aren't they suppose to know about the birds they sell? (sorry for the ones who cares)

does this person look like some one who takes care of there birds?http://www.jmparrotplace.com/Default.htm because i am thinking about getting a cockatoo*moluccan* or a macaw from them and can you give me some info on what size cage they need because on person on here said they needed a very small cage but i DO not that is wrong and i was wondering could i give it the biggest cage that i have seen? or should i get it a med. size cage?

In winter, it stays about 35 in the day and can drop as low as 0 at night.

We recently got a new outside Aviary. it ia about 4 foot tall and about 32 inches across. We are not sure what type of birds to put in it? This does have a small heat tube and will have some little houses in them for shelter.

one of my parakeets just recently got over a little sick stage he had a week or two ago..when he was sick we fed him a gel like vitamin or whatever it was and like its all over the area where his beak is..is there a possible way of cleaning it off without them having to fight back? && what should i use to clean it off? water helps but not that much..

I posted a question about my neighbor having fleas and they are getting into our Apartment. I am curious if Fleas can get onto my Parrot, a black headed caique, and if so can they be as harmful to my bird as they can be to my cat and us? How do I prevent them from harming my bird? I am afraid to use foggers (I would take my bird outside if used) but I am afraid of after when it is "safe" to come back in if the lingering fog could harm my bird. Also what if we had someone come and spray if that would be harmful. I have never had this problem before. We take care of our pets, but now because of someone's negligence I am worried. Please any advice? Thanks!

What are your thoughts on handicapped pets ? I know of someone raising a baby bird that was born without eyes and a mis-shaped head. The breeder was going to kill it as its not a profitable sale to her. My friend chose to buy the bird and give it a chance. It eats and is very active. Someone told her she should be reported to the SPCA; but the bird is not being abused in any way. In fact its just the opposite; the bird is spoiled! I agree with my friend; she wants to give it love for as long as it may live. What are your thoughts ?

the store guy told me it is male...but he was shady so i didnt really believe him. and now his/her cere is very light blue...kinda like sky blue but much lighter.
