Wait and see. I have had this happen. I believe all of the birds did recover in short order, and flew away. I would say wait 15 minutes or so.

Place the bird in a small, covered box with airholes and paper towel for padding - not cloth, as the bird can get its nails caught in a cloth towel. Keep it warm and quiet for 1/2 hour. Do NOT attempt to give it anything to drink, as someone else suggested - if it is stunned or in shock, it can aspirate and drown.
After about 1/2 hour, take the box outside and open it. If the bird was just stunned, it should have had enough time to recover. Give it a few minutes to get oriented when you open the box, and hopefully it will fly away. However, prepare yourself for the worst - the bird could have sustained fatal injuries, and will be dead when you open the box. But if it is just stunned and you leave it laying there, it could either go into shock and die, or it could be eaten by a predator, so at least give it a fighting chance!

This is going to sound SOOOO cold hearted but here goes. If it flew into your window and stunned itself in a while it will get up and fly away. Kinda like with our pet birds that do not have clipped wings who happen to fly into windows, doors, walls (I clip all my birds). If its laying there squaking not moving of bleeding to a point where you assume its going to die kill it. Yeah yeah give me thumbs down but there are so many vets out there that even if its NOT your animal and you take it in they will try to get payment from you if you refuse to pay guess what they do..Yep they put it to sleep. I personally would not take a wild bird to the vet I'd let nature take its course. And I certainly wouldnt rush out to pick it up never know what sort of disease its carrying. Everyone on here is going to tell you "poor baby take it to the vet" DONT let nature take its course, this is not your pet its not a pet infact its a wild animal would you run out to help it if a coyote had attacked it..NO so let it be.

Their little necks break so easily. Feed him through an eye dropper if you can, and keep him warm. I found a baby bird that fell out of its nest. That's what I did for him. But he died the next day. Maybe your's is stronger. Say a prayer for him.

We have had this happen several times, if he is just stunned he will recover and fly away. Probably best not to bother it.

Poor baby!!!!!! If he is just laying there then he probly has a broken neck. If he is trying to get up then maybe he just has a wing hurt.

for his concern and yours just let him be for a while and see if he comes around. If he's screetching alot and favoring a wing, leg etc I would take him to the vet.
