I have a suggestion. But first you must understand that what the other posters have said is true. There is no pain medication which you can give to your bird without killing it.
There IS, however, something you can do to help the bird. You can give it some Chamomile tea to drink . This will not harm your bird, and will help to calm her and help her to sleep.
You need to use 100% pure Chamomile flowers. Check the health food stores for the tea. It is common and popular. It also should not cost a fortune.
I use a great many herbs , and Chamomile is a very useful one for both people and pets.

Do-not give your bird any kind of Painkiller unless prescribed by a vet,I would not worry about a minor sprain this is an every day occurrence with birds in cages or aviaries give her a treat soak some seed or sunflower in warm water overnight rinse drain and put in a warm place till it sprouts feed her this she will soon get over her sprain.

Do not give a pet any medicine without veterinary advice.
Their bodies need so little that you would probably overdose it very quickly.
This is a genuine answer not a quick fix that would lead to problems later.
I own a pet store and would not give advice on how to treat a sick animal as I have not had the proper training such as a vet has had.

there is no real human painkiller u can give a bird u could go to the pet store and ask one of the people or u could go to ur vet and ask them (that would be the best thing to do)

Nothing, unless you take her to the vet. You canot give over the counter meds to birds, its a specalised area and you could kill your bird. what you can do to help your bird is to take out the perches or lower them so she is not using the leg so much, rest is all she needs. if you got a grill in your cage, line with newspaper, this help her walk a little easier. Otherwise take to an avaian vet.

Birds metabolism and digestion is far from what humans have. Don't give her any over the counter medication. Only a vet can give you the proper advice. Good luck, I hope she feels better.
