Here's the info:
Male
They had their first set of shots, up to date on deworming and first generation cockapoos.
Do you think $400 is a reasonable price? They're red in color, if that makes a difference.

The groomers won't work with him anymore and the vet has to sedate him everytime. Last nail trimming was $50. Any suggestions would be great!

If we let him loose, he will pee in all the corners of the house near each bedroom etc..etc..

We used to keep him outside of his cage, but tied to the cage with his lease to atleast he is outside of his cage but he continues to pee on the floor. I am getting a little tired of constantly cleaning up after him inside the house. He is about 2 years old give or take. He is a nice dog but he barks a lot and he constantly is pee'ing. It seems like we need to walk him 8 times per day. What can I do about him pee'ing inside of his cage?

Can I put litter down on the floor of his cage to help control the mess? The only thing that helped in the past was diapers on him.
If we tried the pad that goes on the floor, he used to just rip it up with his paws or his teeth.
Like I said, he even pee's inside the cage. I guess he does this if we aren't home and he has to go,he has no choice but to go in the cage. I think if we were home,he would give us notice by barking. Thoughts anyone?

My dog wandered away from our home in the country on Sunday morning. He is neutered, but since I only adopted him 6 months ago he doesn't know his way around to well. I've put an ad in the paper, put up fliers, and have drove a couple of tanks of gas out of my car. What distance should I be searching right now??? 1 mile - 5miles??? On average, how far will a 60lb lab mix travel. Keep in mind it has rained not stop for the past two days - temp is in the 50's.

I greatly appreciate any input you have. By the way, we are in Southern IL - no ice around here!!

I just rescued a 4mth old kitten from the local animal control. When I brought it home it puked up worms that were moving. They are not flat so I am guessing they are round worms. I have never owned a cat. Should I take it to emergeny vet tonight and fork over the extra $$ or would it be ok to wait til morning and do a walk in appt at the vet. I just dont know if its serious or not.

She constantly walks around the yard when let out. she doesn't pay attention to something for very long. I know we just got her from the pound, but she's very strange. She gets along with the other dogs, but accidently killed the guinea pig. She hasn't bitten any of us (kids) and is friendly for the most part. but I was wondering if it's possible for a dog to have A.D.D?

First of all one day this past august i was going to my friends house to go to the pool and on the way to the bathroom he kinda tried to drag me or something and he nibbled on me. it was like when to teeth pinch my leg. Then i went to the pool and went home. then i was thinking about rabies. since this was in august and its december now is there a chance i have it? the dog is fine. i see it every day since i walk home. i have no symptoms and the nibble jsut left a scar. the dog has no symptoms either. can anybody help me?

I ran into an interesting phone conversation today. A lady called looking for a male to "service" her female. Well she said her pom was born in 2000. She has never been bred and has never went into heat until recently. I told her her dog was 7 years old she had to come into heat unless she was spayed . She said her dog never made any messes, I told her that some dogs do not make messes they keep themselves very clean, but she should have noticed swelling and male dogs coming around. Now get this load of crap. She said she was from down south where it is warmer and dogs don't come into heat as often there. (she just moved here recently) I told her she did not have a clue as to what she was talking about, all dogs come into heat unless they are spayed. I told her her dog was too old to safely breed and have puppies, and I did not want anything to do with this or her dog. Then she got on the vet thing........

I have two seven-year-old cats who have been together their entire lives. They are both male and neutered and usually get along extremely well.

For the last few months one has been biting the neck of the other and holding him down, I realise this is dominance behaviour, but why after so many years? When will it stop? It looks terribly uncomfortable for the other cat and sometimes it makes him yowl. I put a stop to it when I see it, but I'm not around them all the time!

(To be honest I'm sick of the chorus of 'your cats are getting it on!' whenever it happens.)

She never gains weight. (you can see her ribs) She is very hyper and loves to run and play so she burns lots of energy. She has been to the vet and they could not find anything wrong. Any ideas? Are danes just thin at that age? How can we get her to gain weight? Good stuff to feed her? Thank you!
