Do they shed?

As a breeder of Chihuahuas, yes they will shed. It is just an inherent trait of chihuahuas that will bring that out. I have found that my longcoats shed less than my shortcoats, so it may depend if they were bred with a short coat or longcoat chihuahua and what all was in that lineage. If there is any short coat in the line at all, there is a possibility that the dog will shed.

To my knowledge, those two breeds are specifically known little to "no" shedding and certainly not "excessively" shedding. Hence why poodles are now becoming the new dog of the mixes like golden doodles and labradoodles.

All dogs shed. So the mutt you're asking about would shed.

No they don't. They don't because it's mixed with poodle and poodles don't shed. So the chi-poo won't shed! (a chi poo is soo cute!)
