it could be many differ things. is he in a glass tank. if so, try to put him in a place where he wont get bothered or see much going on around him. or cover the front side of his cage so that he cant see.the less stress on the lil guy the better. what kind of lighting do you use for him? full spectrum would be choice. do you give him vitamins. d3 is a must. here shortly you be needing to get him on some greens. whats temp like. do a little looking around on some care sheets and you might even be able to figure out whats going on there. don't sound deadly or anything. if this continues call and ask a vet. any good vet will put you in the right dirrection. hope this helps a little

I don't really know what exactly the problem is, just sounds like he is stressed out. We got a baby crested gecko once from a reptile show, and when we got him he was red but a day later, he almost looked like a different Gecko. Weird I know. Could just be cold too..... or maybe even not getting enough vitamins..... Hope all is well

My friend had a bearded dragon and it usually got really dark right before it was about to shed, but I'm not an expert on this species so I suggest researching online, and maybe picking up a couple of books.

You need more than one light. Both a heat light and a UVB light.
The temp under the basking spot should be 100 - 110F.
You definately need to invest in a ReptiGlo 10.0 for UV rays. It should be replaced every 6 months.
Good luck

They will get darker when cold or stressed. What are your temps? Basking should be measured with a digital probe thermometer only and should be 105F for a baby. UVB is also necessary.
