I know what the mom and dad are... (they're both the same breed). But, I'm not sure the puppies look like that breed. So, I'm wondering if my dog got out sometime and just came back or what?

She has been helping them to pee but not to poo. i have been helping by using damp cotton wool for the last few days but now they have all stopped going. Have tried rubbing there tummies but only a few of them have managed to go. i am very worried so will be going to the vets tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had any advice in the mean time?

We have a purebread female shih tzu, and we want to breed her. We are looking for a male shih tzu, just to rent so they can mate. Is there a site I can go on to search for that?

My neighbor has a dog that keeps coming into our yard. My dog seems to like it as it is the ONLY animal he won't chase away. Because it seemed like a nice dog, my husband let it run around with our dog a few times (our dog is only outside when we are). Well, the other day, my daughter and I walked out to the mailbox and our neighbor was outside raking his yard. His dog came over and the guy yells over at me and says "hey, protect your daughter from her because she has a problem with biting at little kids". All I could think to say back was "she (his dog) is over here quite a bit actually" and he just says "yeah, I know and I'm getting sick of it". He then proceeds to call his dog back home. After a while, I realized.... It shouldn't be ME having to protect my daughter from the dog, it should be HIM having to keep his dog away! Am I right? How would you guys handle this?

I have 4 adults and 2 pups and 4 infant pups. Only one of the adults who is also nursing the infant pups is on raw for now.

Her diet started because of medical issues due the consumption of a rawhide we gave as a treat. We have the rest of the crew on holistic high quality kibble and this girl was also prior to the emergency surgery. Now she is on raw full time for the last month. so far she looks super and the babies are growing fast, doubling weight in one week.

I am considering switching all dogs to the raw diet but before I do I would like to learn more, we started it with the one girl due to necessity of her and the pups health and well being. She is doing great but I wonder every day if I am doing something wrong with the diet. That I am missing something. She gets deer, beef, chicken with organs once or twice a week. eats about 2-3 pounds a day so far. any help would be great to make sure I am doing it right.

If the fin was an arm, the blood is around the armpit. It's been there around a day or two, but it was only tiny the first day so I didn't think anything of it. It's bigger now.

What should I do? It looks a bit sore. I'm not sure how he did it.

Please help, I can't bare Frogger being in pain :(

I live in a small town. Dog has a 20X20 pen (w/food, water, shade, shelter) inside a fenced in back yard. She started digging out. Lined her pen with large stones. Didn't work. Added long 2X12's under the rocks. Didn't work. Saturated the soil along the fence with cayenne and red pepper. Worked for a while, but now she ignores it. I hate to chain a dog who is already inside two fences. I'm tired of calls from the police, and/or neighbors about this danged dog. (mine only technically - I'm a cat person. Ex-husband bought it for children and I got stuck with it). Does get attention/walks from children, who don't want me to give it away or send it back to live with their dad. Anything else I can try? Dog is likely too stupid to respond to invisble fencing.

We purchased our puppie about 2 months ago and she still has a problem with peeing and pooping in the house as well as her kennel. The problem doesnt seem to be getting any better. I have also stopped feeding her twice a day and lowered her water intake. Before we put her in her kennel we take her out and when we go to get her she's soaked in her feces. We have to bath her twice a day. My children don't want her anymore because of this. Also will this problem make my children sick? Please someone I need some help I really dont want to give her away.

My beloved betta (benny) died this morning from dropsy. I miss having a betta in my community tank and i would like to get another one however i don't want him to die too. How do you feed bettas in a community tank without letting them eat too much? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I had benny for a year and everything was fine until a few days ago. I miss my little guy :( Thanks!

I have a 9 week old Akita. I work 5 days a week. She is in her cage (good size cage for her size) for about 4 hours in the morning then I come home for lunch for an hour, she does her thing then we spend time together, then it's back in the cage for another 3 1/2 hours to 4 hours. Then when I'm home we spend time in an open yard area. She only goes in cage when I'm away.
