We purchased our puppie about 2 months ago and she still has a problem with peeing and pooping in the house as well as her kennel. The problem doesnt seem to be getting any better. I have also stopped feeding her twice a day and lowered her water intake. Before we put her in her kennel we take her out and when we go to get her she's soaked in her feces. We have to bath her twice a day. My children don't want her anymore because of this. Also will this problem make my children sick? Please someone I need some help I really dont want to give her away.

Don't get fustrated!!!

I agree with keeping her teathered, but to you. Keep an eye out for 'potty' signs and get her out when you see them. If she starts peenig in the house, carry her out in midstream. She will get the idea that you can't have a peaceful pee in the house.

Is her kennel too big??? if it is she will use the bathroom in it.

When she does use the bathroom in the house, make sure you clean it with a good Bacteria/enzyme Cleaner to make sure there is no more odor for the dog to smell, thus thinking it's ok to pee there again.

Well yes it can make your children sick. Feces can have fumes and diseases. Anyway What I would do is after feeding your dog in the morning put it on a leash and take it outside and wait for it to use the restroom. if it uses the restroom in the house then spank it and say NO in a hateful voice. Your pooch will get the idea that using the restroom inside is a no-no. Just be patient when taking it outside to use the restroom.

If you bought your puppy from a pet shop it had to eat and sleep where it pooped and even a kennel might have kept the pup in a cage most of the time. The puppy is still a baby and you have to give more time, humans take up to 2 and a half years to potty train, but you expect more from a dog ?
Here's a rule to follow " In the Mouth out the butt" meaning as soon as you feed your puppy and it`s done eating take him/her out to go potty.

My dog had the same problem. Keep her on a leash in the house. tie it to a chair or something so that her area of movement is limited. She will get the picture in a couple of weeks. Also keep her in her kennel at night. that helped us a lot. as for the feces, im not sure

so she is 4 - 5 months old now? if you have had her on a regular bathroom schedule and you are consistent and she is still doing this, there is something seriously wrong with her. Has your vet cleared her of any medical problems?
limiting her meals to once/day and limiting her water intake is not the answer.
try starting over from scratch with housetraining and be sure to follow every step consistently. consistency is the key if she is healthy.
