i posted a question yesterday about how to catch a pregnant cat that was abused.
i caught her today after school,
but someone saw me taking her, and they told the owners.
the cat's already at the shelter,
and my friend was with me when i took her but i think she's going to spill.
the owner asked me about it and i denied it,
but i'm worried my friend will tell the owners what we did.
i'm not worried about getting in trouble,
i just don't want her getting that cat back.

what do i do !?

Okay i have a 1 1/2 year old pit bull who was resently in "HEAT" and im a fraid she is pregnant, but i have heard of a fake of faulse pregnency sertain dogs may have after being in "HEAT", how can i tell weather this is real or fake

I have 5 cats at various ages, who have always had the pleasure of having the door opened and closed for them when they tapped on the window....
I've just installed a cat flap in the door, as i'm now working during the day...
The one cat i thought the least intelligent! is slowly getting the idea, just sits there looking in, paw padding the flap)...the others are showing no interest and just meow on the window sill..... I've tryed tempting them through with food but no luck...Any more ideas? Thanks.......

try to make a big confrontation on here. recently i have seen one person in particular sit here and bash pit bulls. yet when someone bashes any other breed they get yelled at. y is that. i am getting sick of it. since when is it ok to bash one breed but not another. y cant people just get along on here

I want to know what its like to be a vet. Do you have to handle a lot of blood because I'm not the surgery type. I probaly won't mind blood test but I wanted to know that mostly? I'm pretty young and still have a while till collage but, I just want to study up on a job before I go to collage. If you don't think this is the job for me since I don't like messing with blood tell me. I'm a real animal lover and I want a job with animals and a job that I can get good money from. If you have any books to rec amend then give me the name and ill see if I can find it and read it.

My mother-in-law out in rural Pennsylvania just had an unexpected suprise !

Her beagle just gave birth to a litter of 8 puggles ! The next farm over's pug got loose one day, we guess.

Anywho - I used to breed pugs and know they have a bunch of health issues (respiratory, hips, eyes), but do puggles have the same issues ? Or does the beagle cancel most of it out ?

Respiratory for example - does the longer snout on the beagle counteract the breathing issues a pure-bred pug would have ?

I ask because I want to fly back and get one (we had to put my pug down 5 months ago for health reasons), but cannot afford $5000 vet bills like we had w/ the pugs - which is why I used to breed and no longer do.

Ive posted a few other questions, and it sounds like the reptile vet i have been depending on really doesnt know what he is talking about.
Apparently iguanas shouldnt eat crickets, or cat food, or spinach like he advised me. So what should i do. He is the only veterinarian in my entire city that deals with reptiles (i have searched around) so i dont know what i should do. Should i just forget the vets all together and take his health into my own hands?
My iguana is definatley not on his death bed or anything, its just im trying to to my very best to take care of him.
Hes perfectly green, and i feed him what i think im supposed to be feeding now, (thanks to yahoo answers and NOT my vet)
So veterinarian care is not an emergency. it's just i wish i could have someone to trust and fall back on if i cant help my little one.
I also went out and bought him a proper heat lamp, so im hoping his little bump thing will go away.with proper food.

i got mice in my food cubord i tried to silcon the hole they eat it i try tin foil they eat it i can not use poison cause my pets and well my food so any ideas how to stop them i just spent so much money on plastic storage for all my food so they can not get in that but i can not keep them out no matter wht help please

I feed her purina indoor formula and i use tidy cats clay litter. Her poo smells terrible. I clean the poo and pee out once daily and sanatize the box weekly. Is there a better litter or food that I could use?

My cat peed on my couch =(. He's never done this before, however, it smells terrible and it's in the cracks of the cushions. Do you guys know of any "home remedies" (ie: things that aren't ridiculously priced, store-bought products) to get the stench out? Any ideas about getting way down in the crevices? Thanks!

Someone suggested that instead of taking another training class (my dog has basically "failed puppy and beginner training through petsmart) that i take him to a behaviorist. What does a behaviorist do that is different from a trainer? How much does a typcial behaviorist cost and how long do they work with the dog?

Has anyone used a behaviorist with their dog?

Why has nothing been done? How many people have to be maimed and killed before pit bulls are done away with?

Here are some snippits of a sad sad case.

"Police say three dogs went on a rampage in a northwest suburb. Six people have been seriously injured. One child was listed in critical condition Saturday night."


"One of the people attacked is the owner of the dogs."

"Apparently unprovoked and almost unstoppable, three pit bulls attacked at random, tearing the clothes off of a child, biting a thumb off their owner. "

They are brother and sister and always got along but they are hating each other right now. Is it b/c they are in pain? He seems to be perfectly fine but she is so miserable. The poor thing keeps falling and looks so sad. Why is he okay and she's not? Another thing...they keep taking the collar thingy off but not licking. Is this ok??
