besides losing their dignity
would you ever dress your cat in clothes designed especially for cats?
if you thought they looked to darn cute.

Good luck trying to get clothes on your cat ... mine would go spastic! There are calmer cats out there that might like the extra attention. You'll definitely be able to tell once you start to dress him/her. I'd say if they don't seem to mind, go for it. Just don't make them do something they find uncomfortable. Have fun!

Yes, it is totally ok. It is absolutely NOT animal cruelty to put clothes on your cat (unless you are doing it in a cruel manner or to restrict the cat's movements in some mean way).

My friend Lisa has like ten different outfits for her cats, including baseball jerseys, polo shirts, and a coat with a fur hood. Haha. A little excessive but her cats don't mind. My cats don't like it much, so I usually just put the shirt on long enough to snap a picture. If you think your cat looks cute and you want to dress her up, go for it!!

P.S. Clothes that are designed for animals would not restrict a cat's movements as they are specifically designed NOT to do that. Also, dressing a cat up is not trying to "humanize" the cat, it's about having fun with your pet!

Oh Geez!!!! NOoooooooooooooooo!!! I will confess to putting a little cat tee shirt on my cat for about 2 seconds---the dog thought she was a stuffed toy and went after her--fortunately they were both the same size!!! I shudder to think what might have happened had the dog been large!! From now on all the animals in my house will only wear the fur coats they were born with!

NO.

Here are the reasons why:

1) It is very cruel and restricts the cats natural movements.

2) It could be very dangerous. If your cat is outdoors and gets the clothing caught on something. it could cause it to panic and injure itself, eg stangulation.

3) It says to everybody "Hello everyone, I'm a moronic retard!!"

Hope this helps

If mine was a girl instead of a boy I would. There aren't many cute clothes for boys.

um, no....why are people so obsessed with making animals into human beings?!?! Imagine how uncomfortable clothes would be for a cat!! I would never torture my kitten by putting him in a sweater - he hates his collar the way it is!

yah, i dress my cat up in my old baby clothes! it's really fun, but always make sure that they aren't to big or small as that could be somewhat cruel.

Just because they look cute doesnt mean they like it.

Personally I think they hate being put in costumes.
Its animal cruelty.

And puting little dogs in bags....

I hate the whole idea. Its just not normal.
