Until last night... she cried so LONG so LOUD i didnt get an hour of sleep and when i did finally wake up my head was under the pillows and now my neck muscles hurt.

How in the world can i get my puppy to stop crying? other then time.. because i know time heals everything.. but it wont be healing my neck!!!

I live in an apartment that does not allow pets and I have 2 cats. The cats were recently discovered by the land lady and she gave us no other option but to get rid of the cats. They have been staying at a friend's house for about 2 months now and we are thinking about sneaking them back in until our lease is up.

I figure the solution would be to keep them away from the windows. The only window that would be a problem would be a large window in the living room. They like to get on the window sill (naturally) and we are trying to figure out a solution in keeping them away from there. Any one have any suggestions??

I have a male adult Russian tortoise and have only owned it for a few months. I was wondering if anyone can give me some information on his hibernation habits. Specific dates for hibernating and how captivity affects them is important as well. Thanks.

My poor puppy is sick. Last night he had pudding like poop and woke up 2x to go outside (not like him). He ate and drank. This morning he was very lethargic and his poop was like water. He wouldn't eat his breakfast. Then he vomited and was groaning so I took him to the vet. He wasn't dehydrated but they wanted to put him on an IV as a precaution. They are doing tests etc. He is on wellness dry food only and has had 2 sets of shots. He has been very closely supervised and hasn't eaten anthing to foreign other than grass. I did catch him with a roll of packing tape and he had chewed some of the paper on the inside of the roll. I have to pick him up at 2 and take him to the emergency care clinic because the vet is closing. Could this be the result of an upset stomach or is it definitely serious?

I understand there has to be breeding of some sort or our beloved best friends would be extinct.
But even reputable breeders need to be regulated at this rate....

10 to 12 MILLION dogs and cats are euthanized annually.

192,308 per week

27,473 every 24 hours

25% are PURE- BRED

I lost my filly in June. I bought her as an "unborn foal" so she and her mother came to live at the stable I ride at until she could be weaned. She died when she was four months old, one week after she was weaned.
It was very traumatic, she started having seizures and I had to wait 6 hours for the vet to come and put her down, and by that times she couldn't even get up anymore. She was so small that they just wrapped her up with a tarp and put her in the back of a pick up truck to take her to the vet school, where she had a necropsy that came back inconclusive. They're pretty sure it was a genetic muscular disorder such as HYPP.
But anyway, it just devastated me.
Whenever someone brings her up or even sometimes when I'm just thinking of her I'll randomly just burst into tears and won't calm down until I'm completely cried out.
It seems stupid to cry over her because I only had her for three months but I feel like a mom who has lost a human baby. People are being so insensitive

My daughter's unable to care for her cat for 6 months, so we're babysitting. Our 5 yearold cat doesn't seem overly menacing--she wants to get close, but the baby 7mo is being fierce--spitting, hissing, growling. I don't think she really wants to fight. I think she's scared.

I need some ways to introduce these two to each other without anyone getting hurt.

I am diabetic and have been for over 20 years. I am very familiar with it but does anyone else have a diabetic cat/pet that can help?
I was told to start with Humulin NPH 2 units a day. Then we will retest.
Please tell me if you have had good success with your diabetic pet, and what you do. I want to do all I can to help my pet. Thanks.

I know this question has been asked before but I've read the answers and none seem to really apply.
The cat is male, about 6 years old, and fixed. We have two other cats in the house, also fixed. Everyone loves this cat so he gets plenty of attention, sleeps on the bottom of my bed every night and is eating/using the litter box regularly.

He has always meowed more then our other cats but only if someone came home, or if you see him in the morning, things like that.
Now, he meows at all of the above but for about 3 or 4 hours throughout the day he'll just sit outside the bedrooms upstairs and meow constantly. All the doors are open, he can go where he pleases, he just hangs out in the hallway and meows. It's a loud meow. It's really annoying when it happens early in the morning or late at night.

Any ideas? He's been doing this for about a week now.
Should I take him to the vet?

Thanks!
