Before she goes out, she makes sure she eats somthing otherwise she won't go out. Is that smart or what?

My cat's going out ritual: Sits by the door and stares at me. I open the door. She runs across the room , behind the sofa and darts like a cannonball out the door. It's weird. I mean, she's sitting by the door, why not just walk out? Your cat sounds very smart. She needs her energy for all that frolicking!

my cats eat constantly wheather they go out or not. but it's very smart.

my cats do this but i thought it was cos they wanted the toilet after eating

probaly it would just mean your cat wont eat wild animals
