As many have said Harlequin Great Dane.
The great dane is the second tallest breed ( the tallest being the Irish Wolf Hound (( althought right now there is a Great Dane that is known as the tallest dog))
They are known as Gentle Giants. They are great dogs and very loyal. Though they seem to like to lean a lot on you ( they often prefer to use your two legs than standing on their own)
They do come in a various collars and you can check them out by either checking the internet under Great Danes or going to akc.org.

Harlequin Great Dane
I used to have two great danes - beautiful dogs and definately gentle giants.
Look on the Kennel Club website for more info on the breed.
If you are tempted to get one do check out the breed rescue first.

well since the dog is laying down it's REALLY hard to tell.
but i would say it's either a Catahoula Leopard Dog OR a Great Dane.
here is info on the Catahoula:

here is info on the Great Dane:

I've always wanted a Great Dane. they are very gentle dogs, and contrary to what ppl think they actually are LOW energy dogs, they don't need that much exercise, and they don't eat as much as ppl think either.
i currently own a Catahoula Leopard Dog. that is the most protective and sweet dog I've had in a LONG time. he's a gem of a dog! they are very versatile dogs but they need TONS of exercise and room to roam. they are NOT a 'first time' dog for a first time pet owner.

It is a Great Dane puppy. They are one of the world's largest breeds( heighth-wise) and generally make very nice pets,if you have the room for one! This puppy looks to be a Harlequin or merle in color.
