My Mothers cat disappeared for awhile not sure how long, I don't think it was more than a fews days. When Charlie came back, he was dragging his back legs, and was blind, now he is walking on all of them, and can see, and has remembered how to eat and wants to eat all the time, he also forgot how to use the cat liter and goes to the bathroom all over the house, but mainly in her bedroom. Does anyone know what may have happened to Charlie, and if he is going to get even better or should we put him to sleep, we don't want to do this and yes we took him to the vet, and they aren't sure what happen to him either.

Yesterday i bought some Granny Smith apples.
And, last night when my daughter went to get one my dog was soooo excited!! For a few moments, i was puzzled as to what was wrong with him! I got him when he was 6 weeks old and never seen him do this before.
I finally realized that he thought he had gotten a "new ball"...(LOL)...
When she bit into it his world was crushed!!(LOL!!)
I laughed my tail off!!

She was at the groomers on Wednesday for a haircut and since Thursday, she has had diahrrea-could she have picked up a bug there? Do I call my groomer to see if any dogs were sick that day? what can I feed my shih-tzue/poodle mix, about 13 pounds until I can take her to the Vet on Monday?

we took her to the vet several times because she had this increasingly darker discharge from both of her eyes, and she was finally diagnosed as having blocked tear ducts.

What upset me was that the vet said that they could stick a sort of "pipe cleaner" down her ducts to clear them, but they prefered not to do it because "they would just get blocked again". So, my poor kitty has to live with brown matter oozing from her eyes, constantly having to be wiped away by my dad and I.

Has anybody else encountered this problem, and what did you do about it?

I just started giving lessons to some fellow boarders at my barn. They are 60 yr old twin sisters. Greener than grass.

They finally have bought 2 of their own horses and so now we are saddle fitting etc. I feel pretty knowledgable about fitting after everything I have been through with my mule. So I am helping them get the proper tack. One bought a circle Y flextree from a local saddle shop and it fits perfect. The other has a wide cob sized QH almost pony size and its proving to be a bugger to fit.

So for now, she is riding on my mules wide saddle. Until we get her set up. So today she shows up with a Tucker Saddle and the local saddle lady promised her it would fit. Well, it doesn't It is pinching into his muscular shoulders and has too much rock to it in the back. So I told her that.

Plus they bought a curb bit because someone told them that their 14 yr old horse, should be in a curb, when its in a snaffle its whole life.

I have a cockatiel and tonight my little cousin noticed something was wrong with her toe. I went to pick her up and my bird is a good girl and will step up when she hears the words "step up." But she couldn't step up so I picked her up carefully and looked at her toes and one of her toes is broken. It was broken, aimed up, and bleeding a little bit. I felt so bad and I started to cry and I don't know what to do. PLEASE, please somebody help me.

My cat is part siamese. Right before we b rought her home someone told me "Good luck with the whining. I too know the love of a whiny kitty."
She meows when she walks or sees someone, so we never trip on her.. it is pretty cute and not as annoying as a full siamese one is supposed to be
But why do siamese whine?

The mom and dad are both full blood American Pit Bull Terriers but they have no papers.

I dont know what price to ask for these pups when they are old enough to sell.

I will be providing first shots/exams for the pups.

i am doing this for animals. not for money. not for a certificate or anyting, but today there was a homeless man with his dog and he was holding a sign saying "god bless my animal, But he needs food to survive" the dog also looked very sick. i wish i could help but there was nothing i could do i am only 12. Thats when i thought i could do somthing, donate cat food, dog food, and some like snake food and other animal foods. But i havent seen any animal shelters where i live. does any one kno any animal shelters around the jacksonville- orange park area accepting donations?

every time my female dog is going to the bath room my male dog pees on her we dont no why and cant get him to stop doing it. it is a pain because it smells for one and its gross for 2 and for 3 we have to give her so many baths its unbeliveable does anyone no why he does this and how we can stop it?????

I have owned snakes for many, many years. And have had alot of experiance with them.
Now i feel i want to go to venomous snakes. Any ideas of what type i should get?

How much would it cost to give a 10 -15 lb dog flea shots from the vet? Don't say there is no such thing because my nana had it done to her dog and it works. I hear it gets rid of the fleas in less than one hour. So, how much would it cost. I am was going to go right now, but the nearest animal hospital is about to close. How much do you think it would cost for some flea shots?

I have a 4 month old boxer at 2 months he was diagnosed with kennel cough. He was kept at the vet for a week and a half and put on a nebulizer. This nebulizing process costs 500$ plus but luckily the pet store paid for it. After he was released we were given kennel cough medicine to keep giving him until he ran out. He continued taking the medicine and about two weeks after he ran out he began coughing again. A week later we decided to order some prescription medicine for kennel cough to help him get better. He has continued with these same symptoms, although it sounds better during the day, at night he coughs up foamy mucus and eats it back up. We can't afford to pay 500$+ for the vet to keep him again. Any help on what we should do or what he may have?!?

How can I make my own fish food cakes that are slow-release so if I go on a trip my parents don't have to worry about feeding my fish? I want to make some that are healthy for a full 20 gallon tank and a full 10 gallon tank for 2-3 days, and some for up to 14 days. Can I do such a thing? I don't want to buy the 2 week version and end up using it for 2 days and wasting my money. Is there any way to preserve them once you are back for later use?

I am trying to leave my barn, because I am intimidated by my trainer and can't learn from him. So I am wanting to go to another barn were I can learn and actually talk to my trainer. I need to know how I approach him, and tell him I'm leaving without causing a huge problem. Also I have to give a 30 day notice, and those last days will be hell, any suggestions for that???? I just don't want to leave with a huge problem, cause I know I'll see him at shows, and don't want to create problems for my new trainer!!!
