Well at first it was scary but, after wards I couldn't help but laugh. I put pickles up each year and people like to bring me jars (because they want me to refill them) anyway, a woman I know brought back some large one gallon jars. Apparently she didn't clean them too well and my Lab smelled something he liked in the bottom of one. I still cant imagine how he got his head in it but, we ended up having to break it to get it off. Once I knew he was OK I had to laugh when I thought about the look on his face with a huge jars stuck to him. He didn't yelp but, walked in the room with this sad look as if " Hey mom I did something stupid and now I need help"

I took my dog to the local pet food store to buy food. Right next to the cash register they had a tall cage full of birds (I think love birds or canaries). The cage was a floor cage that was about 5 feet tall. The birds were very vocal, so it was loud and distracting.
I was patiently standing in line with my dog when all of the sudden there was a loud crash and birds were flying everywhere.. My dog had gone behind the bird cage and the tension from the leash tipped over the cage.
Well, all of the sudden every bird in the entire store went dead quiet.
I was mortified, but when I looked at my dog, he was sitting perfectly still and kind of looking around as if to say "what, did something happen?" The look on his face was one of perfect guilty innocence. Like a kid caught with his hand in the candy jar.
The only comment from the clerk was "wow, it's so quiet in here you could hear a love bird drop".

That is hilarious!
The only thing I can think of, is when I was house/ pet sitting several years ago. I went to make myself a peanut butter sandwich, and as soon as I opened up the PB jar I felt a whack on my leg. Looked down, and their dog tossed her Kong toy at me. Thought that was pretty cute she just smelled the PB and got her toy for me to fill.
Hadn't even seen that toy the entire time, she must have kept it in a 'sacred' spot, lol.

I had a cat whos favorite hobby was bird watching. I had just put a suet cake bird feeder in my tree, which was just outside my window. I was standing in my hallway, with the cat behind me. All of a sudden, he stood up, and ran at full tilt at the bird feeder. SMACK!!! into the window! I ran over to my cat (laughing so hard I was crying) to see if he was OK. He looked at me like it was my fault that he did something silly. I want back to sorting my laundry, and the cat followed. Five minutes later, the cat stood up, took off. I heard a loud SMACK!!! I'll be darned if he didn't do it again. I moved the feeder in fear of the cat killing himself by brain damage.

we give our Irish wolf hound stuffed animals to play with. He likes to carry them around and shake the stuffing out of them (litterally). Yesterday when I took him for a walk two young girls came up to pet him. One had a stuffed bear with her. After we started walking away the girl started crying. I looked over at my dog and he had her bear in his mouth shaking the crap out of it.
