do you have saltwater experience?

do you have a massive tank?

do you have a re-enforced tank?

I havent heard of squids are pets before and rarely seen them in public aquariums. Octopuses i have seen before, but they are best left for experts. And a massive tank is needed.

*lol's at the face sucking chick*

I'd give anything to have an octopus as a pet, they're so clever and cute.
But their tanks have to be cleaned more often then most salt water tanks, and like everyone else has said, they have to be big. If you have no experience with ocean pets, you should start with something more practical first to see if you can handle it. An octopus is a lot of responsibility.

Octopi are very difficult to keep contained, and smarter than the average aquarist. Both groups are difficult to care for and the Octopus has a very short lifespan.
Many experienced Marine biologists and Marine aquarists feel that these species are best left in the wild.
Also if these animals are being collected from the wild it may be illegal to sell or possess them.

I don't know how good they make as pets, I just know that they can fit through holes as small as a quarter, so make sure that you have a very secure lid! Plus you'll need an insainly big tank for them too.

I know. I have heard of the same things too! I would suggest that you do more reaseach on the octopus species and a ginormous tank.

they'll get like 900 x their size.
and then itll suck your face off.

yea, so i dont recommend one.
unless you want no face.
in that case, seek mental help.
