We are planning on getting a kitten but we want to know the costs. The cost of the kitten (range from x to y) , veterinary bills, extra stuff we already have other things sucxh as food bowls, food, litterbox from our other cat.
PS please focus on veterinary information

I'm heading off to college, and was wondering if anybody attempted to move a 2.5 gal tank? Mine is heavily planted with substrate and everything. I was told to empty as much water as I can, but I'm afraid that the tall plants will dry out when exposed to air? The move is about an hour, going uphill and downhill. Any suggestions? Can I just bring the whole tank without doing anything, since it's so small?

For the last 2 weeks i had noticed a gravid spot on my female guppy. But like i have seen on pictures and such of pregnant guppys it wasent one big spot. She has 2 small spots and a really small 3rd one. I kept watching her and i didnt see any growth. But i came home yesterday and sure enough the spots were gone and i found 2 babie fish behind a sea shell in the fish tank. I never saw more then 2 babies... dont guppys usually have like 30 at a time!? Did my guppy eat her babies tht fast!? also does anyone have any good websights i can look at to take care of the remaining 2?

During the evening hours when we are either in the back yard or we have the fans in the windows there are a number of skunks that like to walk through our yard. Is there a way to discourage this without keeping the other animals from coming into the yard? We have rabbits, deer, squirrels, and a number of other wildlife that come through our yard every evening and we enjoy watching them and spending time on the patio with them there. i totally love mutts, but my favorite color is black. And when u wear balck, and have shedding dogs, u get a hairy shirt, so i'm going non-shedding. But the thing is, i REALLY don't support breeders. Should i get a maltese mix? or what should i do?

I wasn't sure if the spacing between the wires on the cubes would be too big that they would excape? (Large rats) Are they good at squeezing through stuff? Do they make the wire cubes things with smaller spacing? If this won't work, what kind of wiring could I buy to make my own rat cage that would suffice?

well i have an american bulldog puppy. he is 7 month old and he pretty much behaves. he know when you say to get in his pen he goes right to it and he sits and for the most part he lays but for some reason he will not stop chewing my shoes and its not just shoe it my flip flops. He has chewed 4 pairs and the first two he did i went and got two of the same pair but he just chewwed the last pair earlier. how do i make him stop? He just started to do this about 3 weeks ago. He has also chewed the molding and Its not like he doesnt have toys or that he is bored.. He actually just went on a trip to petco to get a new bone and a thing the call a konk? that you can put treats in and it supposed to keep them occupied. There is always some one homw with him and there are two young boys and two dogs a few years older that live with us. I dont know what to do.. he is an inside dog but if he keeps it up he will be put out side.. for good.please help i dont want to do that to him he is my baby..

I just took my cat to the vet's office. he was being weird and vomiting. she told me that he had been shot with a pellet gun CLOSE RANGE. it makes me lose my faith in humanity - how could anybody be that cruel?!?!?!?? i want to put out a reward for any information leading to prosecution of whomever did this but I'm not even sure if this is a felony. is it?

I am going to buy a larger aquarium soon and U am still debating size. What is the largest aquarium I could manage for saltwater? I was thinking 75 gallons or larger max being 180 gallons? I have had all my cats de-clawed, not to mention neutered/spayed(depending on the sex). They were all indoor cats. I don't want them clawing or inadverntanly scratching me or anyone else in my family or other spots where they are not supposed to claw. The vet makes sure they are under anestetic and all that stuff. It never has affected any of them. I mean really people???

What relationship do you imagine that your cat thinks s/he has with you? I've been thinking about this a lot lately and wondering how my cat perceives me. I have a med. size house, my backyard is pretty big, its me, my mom and my dad in the house. i live in a close small neiborhood so i can go around the neighborhood with no problem. and it has to be small, cute and playful.
