Kodiak. Jack sounds like a chocolate Lab's name, Oliver a pug, Rogue a rottweiler, and Riley something like a golden retriever. Kodiak sounds like a proper, masculine, german shepherdish name.

Sorry. That's just me.

Sorry but, I always picture a GSD with a German name. I am not crazy about the usual Fritz but, something that describes the dog and its origin is always nice. I have a dog named Diesel because he is big like a truck, a chocolate Lab named Bosco because that was a popular brand before Hershey got big. I just like to match them up in a way that means something to me.

Rogue or Kodiak,

Riley and Jack are too human like and plain and Oliver is just boring,

I dont think you will come across another dog with Rogue and it sounds Cool!

Practice calling him, yell the name and see if you feel right (imagine your surrounded by ppl) lol

Just my oppinion, andthats how I have picked mine, saying them is different to when you have to put it in action

Riley is nice
Unless he resembles a bear, Kodiak may not suit him
Rogue reminds me of the girl in X Men
Jack makes me think of a little Jack Russell
and Oliver was the name of our neighbours tom cat
so if I were to choose one, it would be Riley

Kodiak reminds me too much of a name intended for a husky breed. Rogue and Riley sound like names for small dog breeds.
Oliver isn't bad, but I liked Jack the best.

I knew a German Shepard who's name was Shep, but Riley sounds more fitting.
