Cobra's frill up when attacking.Do they really make the kind of sound that they do on movies in real life.Does it come from their mouth or tail?.

I'm not sure what you're asking exactly. I owned an albino monocle cobra, and it would hiss only when striking. It was a quick, short "sss" as it struck. It was like a quick blowing of air. It wasn't a long hiss like many snakes such as pythons do.

King cobras do in fact growl & it is a scary sound when you combine that with the snake's size, it's intimidating stare & it's aggressive nature when defending it's territory, you have a helluva reason to find another path. Bull snakes also give a good loud hiss as well & many snakes do imitate the rattle snake by vibrating their tail in debris to produce a very realistic buzzing sound.

my cobras hiss from their mouths, the person that said from the tail is either joking or knows nothing about snakes

It comes from the air flow coming quickly from their mouth. King cobras actually don't hiss. They growl. It's the freakiest thing. Imagine a 18 ft venomous snake growling at you! ^.^ So cool!

They make the sound from their mouths. It's not a special effect.
