Just put in the treatment 10 mins ago.
Ok it turned the water blue???
It also said to remove my carbon filter aka secondary filter on my aqua tech filter??
When is it ok to run my filter again or can I already???
When can I put a new replacement filter in?
Please note the filter that is not to be replaced is of course still in there.
Sorry for all the questions...but I am new to this.

My kitty was a year old in May. Brief history on him: He has Herpes, which is a virus that affects his respiratory track and makes one eye water. He has only had one outbreak of this when he was about 2 months old. He had liver and kidney damage from that stupid food I gave him, but he recovered from that. He had possible heartworms as his blood showed he had been in contact with them, but didn't show he actually had them at that time. The other day he ate about 4" of my pajama string as I found when it came back up. Since then he has been trying to upchuck and has a deep sound. I took him to the vet yesterday and they think it is a hairball. He was doing it every hour or two. He was breathing fast too. This morning his breathing has become somewhat labored and is trying to upchuck every 15 min. or so. I am giving him hairball treatment and am waiting for the vet to call me back. Do any of you think you know what is wrong while I am waiting for the vet? Thank you.

My three Mollies are doing very well, but I need some answers from other EXPERIENCED Mollies fish people in Yahoo Answers arena.

I have a black, a black and white and a silver Molly. The black and the black and whte Mollies have grown to be approximately 2-3 inches long, very active, all the right look, except... I am wondering if I am feeding them too much. Reason: They are very plump-- Not exploding or sick plump, but plump. No male Molly is in the tank nor has there been, so I know they are not pregnant.

I feed them about two pinches (i.e., enough to hold between my index and thumb fingers, about 1/16 of an inch ) of the good Tropical Fish Flakes (designed for Mollies as well as other fish) once in the morning and once at night. They love to eat but I know not to feed them too much, regardless.

I know what to look for on diseases/parasites and they don't show any of those signs, but being a good pet owner, I wonder about this.

I have no spare tank, can I breed the danios using marbles/pebbles in the same tank as the others if I use the marbles to trap the eggs? I could get a breeding trap to go inside it but is it possible to do it without?

I am a guy and my cat is female ( this is the first time I have a cat)
well she gives me strange 'messages' and i am confused.

When i hold her in my lap - she starts licking her lips -- and sometimes lift her front leg and licks her leg 'suggestively' and then looks deep in my eyes....
Also when i go to take shower she 'insists' on coming in the bathroom and watches me take shower through the transparent tub curtains...( it seems she is glarting at my private area alot --- which embarrases me )
needless to say i have a girlfriend and i never gave any wrong impression to my cat other than patting her and kissing her on her forehead )
She sleeps with me and sometimes sleeps on top of me....

I never had a cat so i am confused ( especially when she licks herself 'suggestively' and looks deep in my eyes) ...
What do you guys think -- is it normal cat behaviour ???

We have a growing skunk population and they like going under our back porch. The dog has been sprayed once, and I can smell that some one near by has been sprayed this morning. One of my 3 cats is still outside. It might have been him.

I am thinking of adding a third cat to our household. We have two adult males now, both fixed and almost five. Should I get a kitten around 15 to 18 weeks old or should I get an older cat? Also should the new kitty be male or female also fixed? How do we do this so they all will get along and the older one's won't terrorize the new arrival?
Thanks K

I've never seen my youngest cat barf. After the visit she was slightly calmer than normal, but we thought it was due to her being scared. Then later on in the evening she puked up EVERYTHING she'd eaten. (They looked like furball puke). Did the shots make her belly hurt? What's the deal?

We have never owned a dog before so we need something fairly easy to care for. We have a ferret and a cat so it must be okay with animals. My brother is only four so it must be okay with children. My sister is a little bit allergic so we would prefer if it didn't shed much. And we would also prefer something a little bit smaller but thats optional. Can you help me find a puppy breed?

I have a TINY 1 lb. 11 week old yorkie and she bites at her paws and pulls out the hair. I have also noticed her scratching her ears A LOT and the hair is going thin. The vet checked her for ear mites, fleas, etc. and says she does not have them. Any ideas on why she is doing this or what might be causing her to do this?

I have a very sick cat that is at the vets office and has an IV and a catheter. My vet said that she has the late stages of hepatic lipidosis. It is a condition of the liver. If they are able to get her to start eatting(she went missing for a little while and was home for a week and wasn't eatting) I really have no idea how long she has gone with out eatting. The treatment just to get her to the position where she MAY start eatting will run my family ove $500. I am about to give birth to our second child in a few weeks. I know that the treatment that I will have to do if she starts eatting I will not be abel to keep up with. (I know that I will have a hard time keeping up with a 2year old and a newborn, and to add tube feeding a cat to the mix I really don't know if it is something that I can handle) My cat is my first child but I also have to think about the type of life that she has now. Precious is over 10 years old. I beleave that I am gonna have to put her down. Would you?
