Take them back to the aquarium store. They will usually accept donations of unwanted fish.

Hi Joruri, I agree it does sound extremely harsh & so will my response-you need to think very carefully before getting any more pets because a pet is for life, not just untill you are bored with it. I wonder how long before you become bored with 'something better'?
If your Goldfish haven't grown perhaps you are stunting them in a tiny tank, a couple of Goldfish should be in at least a 20 gallon. Ok, lecture over, let's find them a loving home: I suggest your first step is to post them on your local Freecycle group (link below-click on your country) or Craig's List & wait untill you have several replies then you can decide who looks best to adopt them. Don't just offer them to the first person who replies-they may become food for a larger fish.
Other methods as several people have said are ask around your friends or offer them to your local pet store-good luck in any descisions you make.

The reason they aren't growing is because you kept them in too small of a tank. Now they are permanently stunted and have lost about 10 years of their 15 year aquarium lifespan. Put an add in the classifieds.

You might have stunted their growth if you kept them in too small of tank. Any way if you want to get rid of them, see if a friend will be willing to care for them and I'm sure pet stores will always accept donations.

Give them to Pet Co. They will put them up for adoption and someone else will adopt them and give them a new home.

whatever you do DON'T flush them down the toilet!
Best way to get rid of them is to donate them back to the aquarium shop where you originally bought them.

Ask all your friends at school if they want them. I think you may have underfed them or had them in too small a tank.

I asked the same question of my local pet store and they told me to put my fish in a freezer bag with water and put them the my freezer for a "humane" death.....they slowly stop breathing and it is not painful for them...they just go to sleep and never wake up....I did as they instructed and it worked.
