Well I own a huge piece of land where I let my 2 horses graze. And this guy moved in with some horses... And let them out on my property while I left for about 3 days (Ya somebody was feeding them and giveing them water ect. Duh im not abbusive!!) I came back and saw they were "not themselfs" It ended up my 2 females got pregnant. Macie- my show horse and Midnight- My barrel racer!!! what do i do??? Macie has a show coming up!!! she can't go pregnant!!! Should I cancel it??... What should I tell the guy that let em' out on my property?

A couple of days ago I bought my daughter 2 fantail goldfish. When I got them home and adjusted them to the water in the water in our tank. Once in the tank I noticed something underneath one of the underside fins. I thought it was some kind of ICK. So I treated the tank.

I have been watching it everyday and tonight I noticed that It was bigger and it was moving and I could see blood inside the vein things of the fin. I took him out of the tank and took tweezers and pulled it off of the fin and dropped it into a glass of the aquarium water.

OMG!!!! It was living! and swimming around in the glass. NASTY! It is very small but I can see that it is sort of clear with tiny black dots on its back.

If anyone know what this is please help me. I wont be able to get to the pet store till late tomm. Thank you!

i have a red ear slider in a 30 gal. tank (i kno i will need a bigger tank for him soon but hes only about 5" right now if that). i was wonderin if i can put anything in there with him. i tried fish and of course he ate them, but i was wondering if i could put like an african albino frog in there, or maybe a crayfish or crabs or something...thanks

I have a boxer lab mix. She has all the hair of a lab. But no matter how many time I give her a bath or brush her hair it still ends up all over my house. I have to vacume my carpet at least twice a day. Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep her from shedding to much?

I found a kitten. Its really sick and starving to death. We took it to the vet and got worms pulled out if its neck. It was a stray I found 4 days ago.. German Shepherd- 8 months old, had him since he was small pup, terrified of bathtubs, and water hoses; even when we do it gently. Dog wipes worked when he was smaller but now he is 70+ lbs and we need to figure out something more effective.

I have a 29 gallon tank ready for fish. It has a 55 gallon filter, 1 bubbler, and 3 rock hideouts. I was wondering if the following fish would be compatible for it.
-2 female sailfin mollies

Should People Need A License to Own A Cat or Dog?
I've been thinking . . . run!

I keep hearing the same old things, day in day out: "We can't afford to get the cat fixed," . . . "We can't afford the vet bills," soooo . . . I think people should have to BUY a license to own a cat or dog. If they want a pet badly enough, they'll pay the fee!

AND . . .

They should have their licenses revoked if they fail to get the animal spayed/neutered, as well as vaccinated yearly. This would definitely help control the abandonned, abused, neglected & rejected pet population.

Just my bright idea for today. :)

What do you think?

PS- I'm talking about PETS not KIDS.

You had to board your bird and the same person who you trusted and have boarded with before did not tell you that they had lost a bird who had stopped eating a short time before your bird arrived and had housed your bird in that same cage without having done an autopsy on their bird. As a result my Blue and Gold recently passed away of PDD. What if this person continued to breed and board other birds. I've called her vet, and called animal control. Her vet couldn't speak to me, animal control told me that they do not deal with exotics and that I should call a lawyer. So much for animal protection.

I have had my 4 kissing fish for about a year and a half they have done fine about a month ago I added 5 small zebra danios and 5 guppies ( 30 gal tank) but 2 days ago one of my kissers was floating and when I got home today another one was dead they all looked perfectly healthy it was swimming around this morning and was eating. I have not really done anything different did a 50% water change 2 weeks ago. How long do gouramis usually live ? could they have just died from old age or could it be something else ? all the other fish look fine the other 2 kissers are acting normal too

Not big but not a small yappy dog, either. My kids are scared of dogs so what kind of dog is good with kids, not hyper, likes to lay around most of the time and is low maintainance. (Of course I know any dog will take effort and need attention but some take less)

So I adopted a cat from the humane shelter about one month ago. The cat had previously lived in an abusive home where her owner would throw her against the wall which caused some severe nerve damage in her back legs, causing her to limp and tumble quite often. When I adopted her, her movement was seriously impaired, but she has made great improvements since she's stayed at my home.

However, tonight, when I came in from a night out, I picked her up and noticed that she had feces all over her backside, caking over her anus and stuck in patches of fur on her tail; naturally, she smelled absolutely awful.

When I put her down, I also noticed that one of her legs is almost completely immobile. She's been pulling herself along with carpet on her front paws since I got here, and when she stands up on her back leg she quickly falls down. Mostly, she holds this useless leg out in front of her as she crawls.

I have no idea what I should do. Is this normal, or is this an emergency?

my catsd have fleas. the collars and the frontline dont seem to be working. im going to flea bomb my house this weekend and want to know... is there a powder that i can brush through my cats fur to kill the fleas?
